Three Tune Tuesday Shit Music

Bit of a different slant on ttt this week everybody. @abalze never stipulated whether we need to like or hate the three tunes. 😀

My 6 year old daughter was in the car with me the other day and the Spice Girls came on the radio. ILLLLLLLLLLL TELL YOU WHAT I WANT WHAT I REALLY REALLY WANT.... SO TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT WHAT YOU REALLY REALLY WANT. I glimpsed in the rear view mirror and saw that face when she likes a song. I tried my hardest to turn the radio station over but I ended up turning on the vipers. My worst fears were being realised. She was going to ask me who sang this song and then it would be added to her playlist and be played on repeat for a week. I shuddered at the thought of a whole week of Spice Girls. They are truly a band that if I ever hear a song again it will be too soon. I just never understood them as an entity.
When I was 15, 16 the Spice Girl launched themselves to global stardom. Now the thing was that a few of them were so darn good looking that a couple of my friends loved them, not the music but they were not put to one side as was their physical appearance. So music videos were watched instead of turned over. Now thankfully I wasn't that hard up to stalk 5 girls that were thrown into stardom but a couple of my friends were and I still slag them about it. Thankfully we all got girlfriends a couple of years later and this fulfilled any desire for Ginger Spice or Posh Spice. So that was the of that terrible chapter and I was quite happy it was over.

"It's the Spice Girls daddy."
"Will you add that to my playlist."

"I will honey but I am driving right now and can't add with my phone"

Note to self , buy her sweets to take her mind off the Spice Girls.

Later that evening,

This is only a phase and she won't like the song. She has too many indie music in her off her Mammy and Daddy.
I text the wife saying we had an emergency. THE SPICE GIRLS

Another one of their over written disasters that of course reached number 1 came on after wannabe. Something about Setting your spririt free, it's the only way to be.

That's Sporty, Ginger, Posh, Scary and Baby Spice.

Why is Scary Spice called scary?

Hmmmmm I am not really sure. Maybe because she has a voice that is like when you smoke 200 Bensen & Hedges a day and she always wears Leopard skin which is quite scary I suppose.

Why is Sporty called Sporty?
Because she's into Sport.

Anyway let's listen to something else.

Who is singing now?
I think Sporty is singing everything because the rest of them are not great singers.

So why are the rest of them in the band?

They do a bit of dancing and look good I suppose and say Girl Power.

Must get off the Spice Girls. Must find someone that little girls love as well but not as cringey.
