Sometimes, The Things We Worry About Never Happen.

What’s a stressful day like to you? Well, that depends on our lifestyle and the activities that we carry out every day. For me, I would say that in market day is one of the most stressful days that I will ever experience. I basically go to the market once a week so I cannot escape the stress, but today is different.

I was asked to go get some fabrics at a mall known as Tejuoso Shopping Complex here in Lagos. My mum called and asked me to go get some fabrics which she saw online.
To be honest, I have to say that this is one of the most stressful days of my life. The mall was do big that one could get lost inside of it.

On getting out of the bus, I headed straight to the so called Tejuoso Shopping Complex because I’m familiar with the place. Then, I was left with the task of locating the exact place where I was told to go get the fabric.
After asking three people about the place, I finally got it.
The fabrics were not encouraging at all. They didn’t even look a bit like the ones the posted online. I think this is one of the problems with online shopping. Many times, you may not get exactly what you have ordered for.

The fabrics were not manageable at all so I chose to go inside the complex itself and this was where the whole story started.
At first, things were getting better. I was sending some fabrics to my mum but she wasn’t liking them. I kept moving on and on to different shops in the complex until I finally got lost. I mean, I got completely lost.

Then, I kept perambulating the whole place. The complex was so big that if I move from one place to the other, I find myself in somewhere that I don’t even know at all. If I climb a stair and decide to go to the other floor, I find myself elsewhere so it felt like Iw as just walking around the whole place and didn’t know how to get out of there.

I heard someone play this song and I on my Shazam application immediately and got the song. I was at least tired of perambulating the whole place so I started walking quietly and I didn’t worry about the fact that I got lost anymore. I just enjoyed the music and moved in peace.

I’m not even familiar with all of these songs but I enjoyed listening to them. After the first music stopped playing, this played next and that was the work of Apple music.

Suddenly, I saw a bright light from afar. That was the sun. That means I’m close to the exit or entrance of the mall. You need to see how happy I was.

Then, a quote I heard sometime ago came to my head which says; “sometimes, the things we worry about never happen”.

I eventually became happy even though I had a stressful day.
