Music As A Means To Suppress Anger.

Music as a way of anger suppression is something I have tried and it worked out well for me. A good thing I now notice is that people now understand the power of music and do not center it just around the entertainment part alone. Music is one of the best tools to calm one’s anger.

I have seen situations where so many people do not know how to walk away out of the anger scene. When they are angry, they cannot predict one particular thing that is possible to calm them down when and this results into destruction of things, loss of lives and properties.

Have you ever tried to listen to music while you’re angry? This takes me back to my high school days. I was in class that day when my clique of friends went to the dining without me. I got so angry especially because my feeding fee was with one of them and she mistakenly lost my money.
Unfortunately, they were not present there and there was no reason to get angry at people I was not seeing. I just sat down and started singing. It was in high school and we were not allowed to take in our phones or listen to music through the speaker and I started singing “Kokoro Ife” by Gabriel Afolayan.

After a while, I became calm and the sight of my friends did not even trigger me. Unexpectedly, my friends handed over a food to me so I won’t be hungry throughout the day.
I would have flinged away the food when she handed it over to me if I was angry but that doesn’t change anything.
This is what anger does. Anger will only make you ruin things and it does not stop what is happening or what is about to happen from happening.

Not only the music but the music video too. This is why music artistes make music videos that connects so well with the theme of the songs.

The effective way of calming anger with music

• Pick a song that you love. If you love a song and you can resonate with it very well, singing along the song can temporarily help you surpress the anger. Then, by the time when you remember what got you angry, you will be cool and may even forget about it.

• Pick a song that makes you happy. We are familiar with so many songs but not all those songs make us happy. It is only a few of them. Choose that song and I can bet that you will be calm. This has worked for me so many times.

I chose this song because it makes me happy. Music has a deep connection with our body and soul and that’s why we have goosebumps sometimes when we listen to a song.

Try out listening or vibing to music when you are angry. It helps to calm you down and I can’t wait for you to give me a review of it.

Hmm. Nice try there..
And it works well, ..
But it's not so feasible, when there is no assess to music.
Maybe you ll have to sing and that will be nice.
The best way is to settle the matter tho and move away from the source.
