Valley Echo Rock Fest - Day 3
Valley Echo Rock Fest is i could now probably say an annual event (3. year happening) in outskirts of Padina. It started after the lockdowns because bands were eager to play live, people wanted to hang out and it was an opportunity for some young local bands to perform on a stage.
The first year all 6 bands were from Padina (a place of probably around 4k people) and it was a one day event.
Second year it was a two day event. And the festival got its official name. Day One 2022, Day Two 2022
This year they decided to go for a 3 day event. With the 3. day being a chill day. And starting in the afternoon with DJ
TWO BAD TOM dj Tom Tom
After that, the plan was that there is no real plan and it is a free for all Jam Session. So there were some mixes that never played together, there were some people that didn't play for years and some that were first time on a stage playing live.
And as it was a chill day, i missed to capture a big chunks of the the Jam :)

! It's always nice to see local bands get a chance to perform, and it sounds like the festival has a really relaxed and chill atmosphere. I'm sorry you missed out on some of the Jam Session, but I'm sure it was still a lot of fun.
I'm glad that the festival has been able to grow and become an annual event. It's always great to see communities come together and celebrate music. I'm sure the festival will continue to grow and thrive in the years to come.
The photos looks really great as usual, can i ask what ISO do you used? they look really sharp
most of the front shots were around 1600 ISO, drummers were usually a stop more so 3200. i could probably go a bit lower but i wanted the shutter speed to be at least around 1/160-1/200.
what i noticed with development of new cameras, there are 2 things that have significantly improved. Smart autofocus and ISO. And R6 has a "small" sensor of "only" 20mpx so it handles grain/noise really well.
Damm 1600-3200 ISO and you got almost NOT grain, that camera is really good for that!
yes there was the time when 1600 was my limit of what i was willing to use on the 600d. on 80d it was around 3200. R6 i think if there is enough light (so i don't have to bump it up even more in postprocessing) i would probably use 8000, maybe even more. but if you are trying to use 10000 you should probably add some light to that :D

Well the day 3 was the final day :) so there is a chance of a video, but i am not sure about that :)

The way we see all these people are really enjoying this event. Such functions should be everywhere, the biggest benefit is that a person gets an opportunity to meet new people and then a person learns a lot from them for his life and the way we have seen that people singing live is much better.
I remember 3 years ago when I lived in Bogota, Colombia, in that city they held an event called "ROCK AL PARQUE".
What I found interesting was that not only local artists were present, but also national and even international ones.
I would like my city to hold this type of event.

I can say it is growing, finances are always the problem, at the moment it was 99% was financed from the local people. This year one band was, don't want to say mainstream, as they can't really be called that, but they are out there for 15+ years with their own material, and are pretty known.
It kinda all depends on the will of the organizers, but i think it will grow. probably not crazy big but...
