End or just chapter one?
There is probably a bigger story about this place and maybe there will be a retrospective some day. January 1 was the last day. Closing of Underground. There is a chance of moving the place to another location, so maybe it is not the end.
Not sure did i procrastinate with editing this because it felt like the end or i just didn't have the time for it :)
Is Repriza a thing all over the world? A day after the New years party, you go to another party, it is kinda the same but with no formalities :) and we call it the rerun.

Sorry to hear about the end of an era for you. There are a few places in my error that used to put on shows for lots of bands to play at near me, and just about all of them have shut down and been demolished. It's a very sad thing to see.
last few years we had the same. few decent places closing. at the moment this was kinda the last resort of live music. hope it is just a chapter one.

it was a struggle for few years especially with the restrictions in 2020 and 2021, but in the end it was the owner of the property wanting to do something with the place, i am not sure does he even knows what. and the building needs a lot of renovation or maybe even a wrecking ball. there are some talks of moving it, but we will see.
there was a neighborhood bar here where I live called "Club Underground" .. it went through alot of phases.. but it was a kinda nightclub at one time, and you could get the DJ to play pretty much any kind of music.. I really like getting them to play EDM music cos they had a better sound system than I could ever hope to have.. and it was fun forcing people to listen to loud ass EDM with hella BASS
This was mostly live bands. the place was a club 20 years ago. then it was closed for a long time, until my friends reopened it.
It is sad to see good places vanish.
Maybe, in the worst case, you will get a turbo-folk club instead.
