Hello there, black-and-white photography lovers!

A while ago, we had this announcement of a cultural activity that could be denominated a recital. It was a mix of theater, poetry and music. All the text of the performance was all written by the singer, an amazing musician named Alejandro Moreno.

Before the recital started, we had the chance to attend the rehearsal of the activity. It was all about the cues for the entries of each part of the works. We couldn't see the theater part because the actor had something to do. She was looking for a red dress for that afternoon.

The theme of the activity was love. So music, poetry and play were all around the topic. And it went around many forms of love.

Watching the rehearsal was magical. Some people couldn't attend the recital, but they saw the rehearsal. And these artists put their soul in both occasions. That's the actual magic of being present before the recital starts.

You can look at everything from the concentration faces and expression before hand. The best part is that taking these shots during the rehearsal gave me the chance to enjoy the recital without looking at my phone.

And that's a second point of magic!

These are beautiful photographs and as you mention, they capture the concentration of the moment perfectly. I love recitals and poetry.
