Hello there, my fellow musicians and music lovers!

We're back after some long musical vacations. I wish it were true but I was preparing for a concert that went really good. Now, I'm here for the 85th week, round 1. For my performance, I'm playing a cover and arrangement of the Bolero "Historia de un Amor" by composer Carlos Eleta Almarán. This is one of those songs that might have been played a lot in jukeboxes in my country. I remember listening to it on the radio.

It is a beautiful composition that he made for his brother once his wife passed away. It is a tribute song that has been recorded by more than 34 artists and groups and until the date it is consider the most recorded song of Panamá. Yes, guess you didn't know the author of this piece was from Panamá.

The version I remember the most is the one played by "Los Panchos". Of course, it is a Bolero, it was played by this group. On my arrangement, I went on a simple structure of repeating the refrain twice and the verse as well and added an ending on progressions of chords in tone to finish on some dissonant chords plus the harmonic at the end.

I hope you enjoy this piece. I have something interesting planned for the last entry of this cycle.

By the way, did you notice I'm playing a different instrument from the other two that usually appear in my videos?
