Actually I'm in the process of watching The Orville. Don't know if you know it. There's a group of aliens who worship a god called Avis and one of the humans says to the other "I wonder why they worship a car rental company".
Haha... now I have to look that up!
Look up god of the Krill. it's a good series. A sort of homage to early Star Trek and in places it's more Star Trek than Star Trek. The first part of the first series is a bit weak but it picks up pretty quick. Seth McFarlaine is in it (and came up with the idea) so if you like his stuff that might twist your arm if you are not so geeky.
I'm on it... it will be my travel series for this coming tour!
