Yeah... it is a pity that Classical Music got absorbed into the uni strream of things.. really doesn't below there, and it adds to the idea that it is music that isn't supposed to be "enjoyed".

I donno the degree I did could probably have been done at TAFE as well (and looks like there's a rough equivalent in there now but not sure how good it is, all I know is Middle started it and dropped it and there were all of three students left in one of the classes before she did) and it was still fun and I still enjoyed uni quite a lot (in contrast I really hated school to the point I almost didn't want to go to uni as I was sick to death of institutional education, glad I did).

Interestingly I would have thought the opposite as TAFE seems to pride itself on the apparent ability of graduates to practically walk into a job on completion 😅 which made Eldest ditch the fitness course he was doing first up as he found it way too prescriptive.
