2026 Planning Superposition Collapsing Fast!

... and this is a follow-on post from the 2026 planning puzzle from only a few weeks ago. As soon as we had the main guest availabilities and the 2026 planning from other ensembles around the nation... well, things have to move fast so that we get ahead of the other ensembles as far as booking of venues and players are concerned... not that we really overlap with players due to our specialisation... but we do overlap for venues, and concert dates clashes for audiences.

So, we got the dates settled on our end for our 2026 main concert series, and then went straight to soft-locking our main guests whilst we chased up the venue availability... and then for a few nervous days whilst waiting on the venue to reply we started to lock in regional touring and other non-series concerts.... and then as soon as we had the venue reply, locked in the guests!

Everything was hanging for a few weeks, and then a quick flurry of activity... and the puzzle is solved for 2026. There is the potential that I might miss some other work with other ensembles in different cities... but I guess that is the sacrifice that you have to make when you are putting your own ensemble and passion project first!

Now, we have to move on towards our 2026 publicity stuff... we have a new year swirly out, so that is pretty much ready to go. And with the dates down, we can put out save the date sorts of things.

Website needs to be updated at some point... and then also notifying all of our followers and loyal audience members! Eeep... and there is a new tour package to build and send this coming week... plus a longer burn structural (4 year) grant application that is due in December!

Eeep eeep eeep... but in crazily good news, we received several large donations from our supporters! Well... that is also eep! We are crazily grateful... but quite overwhelmed by the amount of trust that people are putting in us! We hope we live up to it!

Never stand still... move fast and inspire as many as possible!
