ThreeTuneTuesday - One Piece
I believe this would be the first time I would be sharing in #threetunetuesday and what better way to start here than sharing my favorite One Piece themes. If you haven't been living under a rock, Netflix has recently released their live action adaptation of the popular anime and has since received an overwhelming positive reception.
Thanks to @ablaze for this initiative. I've been wanting to write about some music for a bit now and glad I came across this post. Quote from ablaze below:
Every Tuesday I'm going to share 3 songs which I like to listen to and I invite your feedback in the comments below. Better still, why not have a blast of your own Three Tune Tuesday and mention me in the post and I'll come and find the post and upvote it. If you could also use #threetunetuesday tag that would be great, as that is what I use when sifting through all the entries every Wednesday. It'll be a sweet way for us all to discover new music. You'll also be in with a chance of winning the prize - more on that later.
Hands Up!
Performed by the artist Kota Shinzato, this is the 16th opening of the anime. It is a bright and cheerful song which just inspires you to get up and go! No matter the obstacle, if you have this song playing on your background you'd be sure to get pumped up and motivated to achieve your goals. It can uplift the spirit and I would suggest this song to anyone who is feeling lazy for the day. Official music video is shared below:
Hope
A song by Namie Amouro and the 20th opening of the long running anime. Similar to the first song, the uplifting beat paired with a strong vocal performance would give you the feels of being able to conquer anything. Best listened to in the morning as it is sure to fire you up. On the anime side, this is a song which is close to many fans hearts. I don't wanna give too much away, but it heavily involves Sanji for this arc. The actual opening video from crunchyroll's channel is below.
One Day
With so many great songs in the One Piece world, it is so difficult to narrow it down to 3. Performed by The Rootless this is one of the openings for the Marineford Arc. In contrast to the first two songs, this is a bit more emotional and gives you that nostalgic feeling. It dwells on conflicts and the fact that life has its ups and downs. With regards to the anime, this song reminds fans about Ace and Luffy's relationship. If you are looking for anime openings that can give you the feels, then check out the video below.
