Finally over.

IMG_20260219_154117887_HDR.jpg

Waaaaaaaaaah! This week is over! And it wasn't fun. Good frequency, how can one endure such an overdose of humanity? With funky punky music that doesn't take it too seriously. Because serious business, when finished, needs to be processed with humor. Or punching people. But I'm not ready for jail yet, nor to get my ass kicked, so...

Although I sometimes wished I could do just that. Use some form of destructive power to deal with the problems. I'm smart enough, I have some economical means, I have a vast network - I could silently manipulate everything. Become a Godfather.

There's always an appeal to solving everything with violence of some kind. It's generally the easier way, but in my experience, the easier way later on leads to even more problems. As I mentioned in my last post, there is a freedom in taking the high road, in not being dragged down in the mud.

These days I've been focusing heavily on a newly found truth for my life, on which I will write an extend post one of these days, when humanity leaves me alone for a bit and I can sit down in peace and structure my thoughts.

When I meet those kind of humans that challenged my week, they can bring out the worst in me, or the best in me. But it's me who can choose which one to let out. Sure, the worst is easier, because staying focused on ones convictions in the face of someone who is acting in bad faith takes a lot of restraint and energy.

But it's worth it. And I'm getting better at it, which means it gets easier. Everything that becomes a habit will require less and less energy. And then, when those persons cross my paths, I will smile with determination and smash them with kindness. So much kindness that they'll asphyxiate on the ground. I'll be a freaking buddha, sitting on them with my 50 tons of kindness.

Okay, this is is getting out of hand. Better stop here. Have a great weekend y'all!

Now that sounds slightly passive aggressive kindness haha.

I love Gogol Bordollo - haven't listened to them in years! Reminds me of our traveller days. Wild with a lot of cider.

No way! That's absolutely not the case at all! 🤣

Wild with a lot of cider sounds great! And yes, that song does speak to me quite a lot. Reminds me of a Talco instrumental. Which of course gets quite punky in the end. There's also Obrint Pas, who I had totally forgotten about. I'll probably include them next week.

A calm and kind response to someone else’s malice is my favorite way of dealing with aggression. I’ve noticed that people who are naturally spiteful tend to lose their footing when met with genuine kindness. It’s as if someone has taken away the only weapon they know how to use. For them, this is much harder to swallow than the usual “aggression for aggression.” Even more unsettling is complete silence — a lack of reaction that gives them nothing to latch onto.

This text was a pleasure to read alongside the songs I hadn’t known before, but I’m certain I’ll be coming back to them.

This! Haha. The kind of kindness that will truly annoy them and seeing that is so satisfying for sure. Lol. But I wish you an awesome weekdays. Weekend will be over and we have to start the day with much energy and patience. Fighting!

And your choice of songs are all really amazing. Its lively, its the kind that I will play during Sunday afternoon while enjoying a peaceful day.

I wouldn't say the songs make for a peaceful day, but are rather good anger management therapy :-D

Thank you for the good wishes!
