Ending the mean.

Yeah, I talk about it too often. I know. I try not to, but the idea of a blog is to talk about one’s life, too, and it’s definitely and absolutely a big chunk of my life right now, on all accounts. But I feel like I’m getting closer to ending it. There are certain signs. As I walked out of the courthouse yesterday once again, having kindly asked them to not to forget to do the job that they’re paid for (nothing is done if not requested personally), I felt like electronic music. But not Stoto, though I love them. I thought of Kalkbrenner, Berlin Calling. And asked myself why I never listened to anything else by Kalkbrenner. Maybe because of the movie. It’s nostalgic.
So I went for Essence. And I’m glad I did. Earplugs in, walking to the “Cotacachi” letters. The platform there is perfect to practice the three Tang Soo Do forms I learned so far. The weather was pleasant, but honestly, with this kind of music, it could’ve rained and I’d been happy. Just the right vibe at the right moment. Forms are like dancing. So I danced.
Forms can be done in many ways. Fluid like water. Fast like wind. Slow like the earth. Powerful like fire. Rigid like metal. I enjoy forms because they’re detailed. Multiversal, you can use each movement in so many different situations and for many different purposes. And muscle memory will take care of most of it. If ever necessary, which I hope I’ll avoid.

I walked around a little bit before going home and having a lazy day. Listening to this music. Now, I’m writing this, listening to it again. And it’s such a great album to listen to, easily, while doing whatever. Just like Stoto. For walking around, working, spacing away, background music while talking with friends, or while having a beer. And probably pretty awesome in a club. We don’t have those here. Not for electronic music. Would be cool to organize one, though, just among friends. I know a few who like their Trance parties. And a location could be organized, too. Hm… Okay, one more for the road.
That’s it. Enjoy your Saturday!
