Healing Sounds

( EN / DE ) The Main Hospital of Graz is originally a wonderful and huge complex of buildings built in Art Nouveau style, which was opened in 1912. Constantly modernized and adapted to the requirements of modern medicine, it still has the charm of these beautiful, peaceful buildings.
Das Landeskrankenhaus Graz ist ursprünglich ein wundervoller und riesiger Gebäudekomplex im Jugendstil, der 1912 eröffnet wurde. Ständig modernisiert und den Anforderungen einer aktuelle Medizin angepasst, hat es aber dennoch immer noch den Charme dieser schönen, Ruhe ausstrahlenden Bauten.

At the far end of the grounds on a hill is this church, also in Art Nouveau style. This photo was taken last week, early in the morning, just before I entered the clinic for my surgery.
The church, the moon, the light, old and modern, just brilliant.

Am hinteren Ende des Geländes auf einem Hügel befindet sich diese Kirche, ebenfalls im Jugendstil. Dieses Foto entstand vorige Woche, früh morgens, kurz bevor ich die Klinik für meine Operation betrat.

Die Kirche, der Mond, das Licht, Alt und Modern, einfach genial.

Ein weiterer Song, den ich schon sehr lange schätze hat mir am darauf folgenden Tag geholfen, ein die Unruhe, die meine Bettnachbarin ausstrahlte, völlig auszublenden. Unersetzlich, so ein Smartphone mit Kopfhörern!

The "Mul Mantra" comes from the sacred scripture of Sikhism in India. It is a prayer text. Even if I don't understand it literally, this version by Santam Kaur is like a balm for my soul. I also find the recordings in this following video beautiful.
das "Mul Mantra" entspringt der heiligen Schrift des Sikhismus in Indien. Es ist ein Gebets Text. Auch wenn ich ihn nicht wörtlich verstehe ist vor allem diese Version von Santam Kaur immer wieder einmal wie Balsam für meine Seele. Auch die Aufnahmen in diesem folgenden Video finde ich wunderschön.

As you can see, these are no "normal tunes" that you listen to quickly. But maybe there is one or the other that you would like to get involved with if it suits you.
Ihr seht schon, das sind heute keine "normalen Tunes" die man sich man schnell anhört. Aber vielleicht ist doch das ein oder andere dabei, auf das ihr euch gerne einmal einlassen wollt, wenn es für euch gerade passt.

The next piece already accompanies me for years. When my dog became so ill, I often played it in the evening to fall asleep and I always had the feeling that it was doing us both a lot of good. This is also for Minja's 2nd death anniversary, which is today. Forever in my heart, my love.
Das nächste Stück begleitet mich nun wirklich schon seit Jahren. Als meine Hündin seinerzeit so krank wurde, hatten wir es oft abends zum Einschlafen laufen und ich hatte immer das Gefühl, es tut uns beiden sehr gut.
Also auch passend zu Minja's 2. Todestag, der heute ist.

This was my rather meditative contribution to the ThreeTunesTuesday #ttt by @ablaze and also my first post after a long time. It feels familiar, yet also foreign, but in any case good to write again.
