Sing A Hallelujah.

Warm greetings everyone and happy new week!

Music is the strongest form of magic......Marilyn Manson.

It's gradually moving towards my favourite time of the year....Christmas! Yay!. It's just eight days away...wow oh wow. My knees are feeling like jelly right now, out of pure excitement.

But before we start flooding our ears and souls with Christmas tunes, that's if you have not started already. I want you to sing a hallelujah.

I heard this song by chance one fateful day while scrolling or should I say philandering through youtube. It was sang by Alexandra Burke but originally composed by Leonard Cohen.

This song was so touching the first time I heard it that I had to download the mp3 version and listen to it over and over again.

Her deep vocals were so powerful, it resonated through my entire being and shook me deeply. She took the hallelujah range to another level that I have never heard before.

Then few years later, I came across a group of acapella singers. They were so young and talented, a five man group who went by the name Pentatonix. I heard them sing this same hallelujah song and it was like I was transported to Jupiter on cloud nine.

This newbie group had emerged as the winners of a singing competition but they didn't stop there, rather they rose and blew the world with their singing.
