The Spark of Lightning.
I can't change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination.
There's a saying in my country that being born in the country means life is already leading you by 3-0 and if you are not born in a rich family, life is leading 4-0 and then, if you are the first born, life has already finished you. This saying occurred due to how the country is.
Government officials don't care about how you've lived or how you are living life. All they care about is stacking enough money for themselves throughout their tenure, and in this veil, it is hard to inspire people with your words. Well, all they need is a way out. An action!
However, I have gotten myself up in this moment of disarray. It isn't easy, no doubt! Being in an independent country with an invincible shackle on our hands and legs the moment we see a new day is tiring, and for that, I have found ways to inspire myself and others too. And, the first way is music! I started with sharing inspirational songs and writings on the blockchain for some months now, and the journey has been interesting with feedback given.
And, below are three posts among plenty of others I have shared to inspire others.
Carol King; It Is More About Yesterday
Long Time Gone: Armstrong Armstrong?
Just like the quote has stated, I always tell my friends that being in a place like this shouldn't define them. Don't be defined by an obstacle in life. Overcome it and write your definitions. Truly, the world out here isn't fair, but no one should be moved toward having no choice but to live life and see death as a peaceful end to their lives.
Everyone who has given their all deserves something beautiful in return, so when I am in a gathering where people share their stories, I not only sympathize with them but also converse with them. Questions like;
"What would you like to do?"
"Any plans yet?"
"How can I help with your plans?" and all others are my way of inspiring others to not give up.
Also, my friends who sell things online, I make sure to not just patronize them but also to put their work on my status for whoever may be interested in what they do. With this, they see the need to not give up in the hardship of lives here.
I remember when I got a call from a close friend about the Binance Ban in the country. It wasn't a funny night for me at all and the caller. He was lost for words because he just did a transaction not long. And he was beating himself up with not having withdrawn a lot to hold at hand to keep things secure until other apps are discovered to trade because the government banned a lot of apps Nigerians that deal with crypto can use to exchange from Dollar to Naira.
It was a sad moment for us all, but I didn't let what happened dampen my mood for long and that of the caller. I assured him a way out would come that all we needed to do was to find it.
...and did we? Yes! Although it wasn't the best, it was something good, so we went for it, and everyone was less moody.
There's always a reason for everything under the sun, which brings us to why I inspire people.
First, I know the country is very hard and pushes you beyond your limit. Therefore, anyone who didn't back down through it all deserves to be encouraged to move further when self-doubt arises.
Also, the happiness of getting people inspired is interesting.
It feels like lightening up a dark room, and when I see people edging forward and not giving up despite the challenges faced, it gives me hope for humanity.
Inspiration is a spark of not just lighting but also kindness to everyone I have met so far. I know the people I associate with and their efforts in life, so being in a room, a call or a text with them to inspire them makes life easier to live because we've got each other.
It is very interesting how words can move people toward doing something meaningful with their lives. People with deadly illnesses see the need to rise because they are inspired to, and if I am in a situation where I need to inspire someone, I never back down because every life matters to me.

Thanks for reading.
Peace be unto those who crave it and more to those who chase it away.
Hello, I just read a text written by a very courageous person. I already read at the time about Binance in your country, I did not comment on the subject because the post inspired me another question. One more stone on the road, in a hard reality where politicians and officials only look for their own benefit. I liked what you said: that reality does not define us. I wish you all the luck in the world.
Yes, it doesn't. The Binance stuff was a mess and it was very annoying. They just want to cut people off in any way which is sad.
Let's hope that things get better and better, a big hug.
A bigger one to you 🫂
Thanks
Looking at the country and it's governmental propaganda, one is bound to not be inspired but like you said, we look beyond them and find our inner strength.
Caring for others, passing a kind words here or there also serves as a source of inspiration.
That's right. Caring for one another matters at all time.
Yes it does👍
With how things are happening and knowing there are people who will always feel discouraged and hopeless, it is our responsibility to find soothing and uplifting words to keep them cool and inspired. I love how you were able to inspire your friend and other ways to feel inspired too. We all need to remind ourselves to stay happy all the time but it isn't something easy, this is why we have ourselves to inspire others.
I popped in here through #dreemport
Yes, it is not easy because everytime you look at the country, there are tons of things happening that just pulls the sad string, but as long as we have each other to look after, we will thrive.
Thanks for stopping by, sweet Princess 👸.
As always a fun read @balikis95 It is always infuriating to see what govts do, and sometimes our fellow citizens are also no better getting easily sold for pittance from govt. But your attitude is best. Even I find myself depressed from time to time, but people like you and Dreemie and Alessandra buoy me up with your logical optimism. May your tribe increase!
Chees from a fellow #dreemerforlife
Yeah, people we call friends and brothers get sold for things that would affect us all. It is a big pity that these things happen.
I am glad to be among the people who fill your gut with optimistic words. Thank you 😊.
Our government?
Funny enough, they're totally less concerned and that's because they can never go bankrupt base on the money they're stacking.
😭
It's the plain truth, and this is why we ought to have each other's back at all cost.
Yeaaaah.
We are one 🥰
