Sunday Tunes: Let's Go, Ghanaian?

The presence of music is here again, just like it is meant to be. Today is special. Well, every day we wake up is special because we don't know what the next minute may bring.

It's another Sunday with very cold weather out here, but with the presence of a beat that results in dancing, all coldness will be off the charts. And, this brings us to the day's tunes with songs chosen from an African artist.

Music is a universal language that lightens up our hearts or keeps us composed whenever it is heard. The beat it produces is what we crave and then the vocals around it. Music makes life more beautiful and meaningful because of the lyrics attached to it.

Words are powerful, and words attached to the presence of sound are a beauty to behold. Just right there listening calmly or at the party. Music is always there for us.

... and because we've decided to make life beautiful for us today, I present to you some tunes to get the body grinding through the cold weather and watch the coldness running. But before that, who is behind the veil?

Ghanaian?

Yes, let's go, Ghanaian! Rachel Akosua Funmilola Garton, professionally known as Lola Rae, is a Ghanaian singer.

She was born in the year 1991, January 20th, in Obalende, Lagos, Nigeria. Though her birthday was on a weekend, that's not stopping us from celebrating her. This year is a year of celebrations, so whenever there's a chance or a moment presents itself with the code of celebrations, let's not be left behind in the mood.

Let the mood fill our hearts and watch as it pumps into our veins and takes us whole. Therefore, have fun with the selected tunes for today.

One Time; Lola Rae.

Walk like you own the goddam stage and spread your music wings. Let it fly higher.

Move your body left, and right then stop, turn, bend, twist, and have fun with the tunes.

Shower Me; Lola Rae.

You'll sure need some showering because who doesn't want that beauty money passport? I sure do want some... like a huge bunch, so my body is in a festive mood. Hehe.

Come and See; Lola Rae.

It is time for you to see something. Are you ready to see it because you can't turn back?

Close your eyes and picture yourself holding that person that makes your heart change its rhythm. Let your imagination lead as you lead him/her to the dance floor.
