Rebecca's Chronicles; The settings.

The first setting.

It started exactly where you may have thought. Not far off from the bustling city lies her home. The milky brown gate is the first that would surely catch your eyes and the ornamental plants that added more beauty to the outside.

Getting inside, the deep milk house stood in all its glory with different decorations that gave you an insight into the residents of the home. Since her mom is an event planner and particularly interested in decorations, her home was the perfect example to try something new before taking it out.

The front door was widely decorated with ribbons, and on the front door, numerous colors of balloons are placed to welcome you in. The inside is spacious and neat. The sitting room has three chairs, which are mainly heart-shaped to welcome visitors , and the color is exactly as you must have presumed; a velvet red color with white ribbon decorations attached to them.

A glass made table sat in the middle of the sitting room while a plasma TV sat on the wall. It was the new edition of TV which replaced the old sitting one. Though the world wasn't yet modernized, having parents; Dad architect and mom event planner, gave the home a stylish look.

The wine bar wasn't far from the sitting room , and a long step away lies the dining room. The kitchen is not far off from the dining room , and so is the store room. There's an ironing room too where electric iron and the ironing board can be found.

Walking right from the sitting room, there's a staircase which leads to the four rooms upstairs and an attic where mostly, her Mom's equipment and other old things can be found. Though, the attic is well furnished with a single chair and can be made a home of its own, it wasn't in use.

The first room by the right belongs to both her mom and dad while the other two for the children. However, Rebecca was the only child who left the other room vacant.

Rebecca spent life in the house from when she was in her mother's belly till eight and half years later, when the unexpected incident occurred.

The Second Setting.

The unexpected event led Rebecca to a small cottage almost outside of town in a house that can be hardly seen. A home deep rooted in nature. Though the world was more modernized to when she was in her mother's belly, her grandma's home didn't give much of the vibe.

In the morning, the chirping of birds can be heard, and at night, the moonlight and fireflies keep you company.

Her grandma's home was small and had no stairs. A cozy home filled with the simplest things. Two chairs for sitting in the sitting room and the dining place a leg away. The kitchen was the biggest part of the house as it contained a lot of ingredients and kitchen equipment that could be found in high-level restaurants.

The rooms are just two and of a small size. There's a bed, a table lamp, and a wardrobe. Then, a toilet and bathroom close by. The outside home gives the perfect view of a well maintained garden and a small farmland which shows different vegetables. Not too far from there, the clucking sound of chicken can be heard in a cage.

A walk down the left path leads to a stream, the right path leads to where more mountains can be found and the middle path gets you straight to her grandma's car far from where nature can be disturbed but still closeby. The car is kept in a shed that covers the car's presence but still creates a path to the outside world. The busy life Rebecca grew up knowing.

I'd appreciate feedback from anyone who comes across this. I'll be tagging a few friends @nkemakonam89 , @kenechukwu97, and @rukkie to check this out.

Rebecca surely grew up in a beautiful home. Even though she was an only child, she sure grew up in beautiful surroundings.
