Make mama proud.

You may not know how it started,
But you sure know a huge part of the story,
You know from where you were formed from,
Where your root lies and the smiles that graced your eyes.

Be strong and keep going,
Life won't be easy. That's a common fact,
You'll get frustrated and tired,
Wish everything stops, but it won't,
But don't be afraid, keep going and keep believing.

Your burden, I may not know,
Mine as well may be a mystery,
But a day would come when you'd make onion cry,
Therefore, you must make Mama proud and give things a try.

Sometimes, you'd need those words, but they won't come,
You'd need the affection, but it won't be there,
Therefore, learn no matter the hardship,
Learn to always be there for yourself because only you got you.

And when you finally make it,
Take good care of your emotional part,
Don't let its light burn off by your hustles,
Live a good life with what you've acquired,
Let kindness rule, and don't forget from whom you are from.

Make Mama proud and yourself too,
Because the hustling and pain were mostly felt by you,
Be loving and kind toward you,
And respect those who helped helped you,
Appreciate and be good to others who are now struggling as you had.
