Life's Reasons?

I knew it. How hard it was to take a step,
With no one to help, you forged ahead,
And just when you are trying to understand your surroundings more,
Life says no and brings its incomprehensible reasons.

It was a shock to us all. An unexpected occurrence to be faced,
It was scary and still is because no way has been laced,
Every plan made to feel comfortable shattered to unrecognizable pieces
A shiver runs through my spine as I carefully thought,
Does it mean everything created from scratch is gone?
And also the hope to start something small.

It is the painful part of life,
Unexpectedly bringing unnecessary drama our way,
But what if this drama was necessary? my insane mind asked amidst tears,
And beneath the worry surged a new hope,
Life won't bring a problem without an answer, right?

Oh, foolish me my mind screams, does life truly give an answer to all?
And just this thought alone, frightened my beating heart,
As a new mantra begin in my life,
Lord, please, let there be an answer to this problem, I whispered.
Though still lost, a new hope surged through my veins once more.
Maybe life will be merciful, I hoped.

And just the maybe words get me going till this moment.
With eyes shiny bright with unshed tears,
As lips quivered quietly like a storm once near,
And new hope snatched my heart with a few words,
Life reasons? I asked. It's always a season and each season is meant to pass.
