Jazz it with African sauce.
It's easy to play any musical instrument: all you have to do is touch the right key at the right time and the instrument will play itself.
It is interesting to see how music can connect us so much that it becomes genetic, lol. Femi Kuti, the son of Afrobeat Fela Anikulapo Kuti, is a genius when it comes to singing and mostly with his musical instrument, the trumpet. The sound he produces from it is so epic that you can listen to it all day long.
Femi has sung a lot of songs, and the way he just gets you right into the mood is amazing. His songs are those kinds African parents use to wake you up from slumber. The tone he takes is traditional, and so is the dance that comes with it.
Today, I have chosen some songs to entertain us, but before we move further, let's get to know him.
Femi Kuti.
Olufela Olufemi Anikulapo Kuti, popularly known as Femi Kuti, is a Nigerian musician. When it comes to Afrobeat, Jazz, and Funk, he is the guy on your playlist.
I did mention earlier that he is the eldest son of Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti and also grandchild Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti. His ancestors were legends, and so is he.
He was born on 16th June 1962 London, England which makes today his birthday and so as we are celebrating his day, you can bring in any instrument to the tune as he got you covered with his.
Now to music!
Truth don die; Femi Kuti.
This should tell you more. Just the instrument and his voice underneath, given the vibes to it, is more than exciting.
Shake your body and move your feet left and right. Bend your body and let your shoulder do the work.
Do your best; Femi Kuti.
Rock your body side by side and whine your waist with a smile on your face. Move your body up and down like you are on an exercise venture and enjoy the music flow.
Wonder woman; Femi Kuti.
Tap your feet gently and tie you wrapped well. Spread your legs like you are squatting, then wiggle your butt. Also, you can make this dance into a salsa one with your partner right beside you as you both dance like never before.
Also, happy Father's Day!
