Friends... Now?

That's how the end always is. Friends. People would want that circle of yours when all that is left is an "apple juice" to satisfy their taste. But, the moment the "lemon taste" hits you, they are always gone in a flash. I believe we all know this. Well, I think we should. It is part of the fundamental characteristics of humans, just like ants, to follow the trail of sugar.

So, when I received a call from a friend saying, "Everyone wants to be my friend now," I told them more of the aforementioned statement. The fact that people want to be your friend when you are in a good position is almost(99%) because of the value you'd bring to them. No one likes a valueless person(if such people exist) because I do believe everyone has something uniquely about them. Something they bring to the table despite being in the position they currently are.

Regarding that, this is why statements like "People who were with you in your lowest are the real gees.” Well, I won't really go with that because I believe whoever not just stay with you at your lowest but also improves you while also doing same to theirs, speaking of you when opportunities set, and knowing when to motivate you, sit you down to talk are the realest gees, but that's to me.

But I don't know if you are going to take that, I mean... I am not much of a people person. I mostly just like being on my own and just staying off people.

Am I digressing? I'm not too sure.

The truth is that not everyone wants you to be successful. Some of you would think the person who is with you at your lowest is a true friend, whereas some of them aren't. I have seen scenarios where someone with you at your lowest is even the one you should be wary of because if you know or can hear their thoughts of you, you'd hide far away from them.

So, when it comes to having friends either, now? Or not. The best friend you can have is yourself because that's the first person that can help you be better. When you are alone on your bed, all alone with your thoughts, the one and only person there with you is you.

Surely, friends will find you no matter how you try, lol. They will always come. So, don't let the moment you are currently in either you are with friends or not stop you from being with the friend that you have now. The friend in you.
