Don Henley: Take a picture of this.

Everything that has a beginning as an ending and such is human life. Some time ago, we were in our mother's belly, then the moment we came out, years passed by from us looking cute and adorable as kids to growing to hustling adults.

This is why it is necessary to take pictures of those moments that can not be revisited. Appreciating those fun moments and creating more to add to our memory collection.

There was a time when the ice cream photographed for this post was the main thing around where I grew up. You'd see children running to buy it after their mom has given them money. Though I don't take ice because of my health, I have watched how kids would wait and scream whenever they hear the sound of the ice cream man.

Now, I am left with those memories whenever I see or hear the sound of the ice cream machine. Things aren't like before again, and I wish a picture of those days I saw this as a kid were captured.

Inspired by Don's song "Take a picture of this," I am left with a lingering memory and deep smile as I reminisce on those days.

Donald Hugh Henley is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer.

He is the drummer, and the co-lead vocalist was born on July 22, 1947
Gilmer, Texas, U.S. which makes his birthday two days from today.

His first song, "The Heart of the Matter, " has such a sweet melody that calms my heart and still makes my body sway left and right like I am carried by the wind.

The heart of the matter; Don Henley.

The sad melody yet heartfelt lyrics that speak so much about the world, our life, and us.

It is the truth, but some people fail to realize or understand that "Sometimes Love Just Ain’t Enough" we need more than love to keep existing in this world.

Sometimes Love Just Ain’t Enough; Don Henley ft Patty Smyth.

The worry, the pain, and the heartache that comes from making a decision but still not being able to let go. Patty and Don's voice just clicked together like beauty and the beast.

I love the rhythm their voice gives together. It is bittersweet and just the right melody to remind us there is so much about this world.

The sound of the guitar and keyboard is lovely, and then the voice speaks so much of the change in things.

Take a picture of this.

Those days we've spent that can't be spent again at that age because we've moved on. Those memories stay with us, and it'd be nice if there was a picture to tell those stories when we are gone.

Still yours truly,
Balikis.

Thanks for reading and listening.

Peace be unto those who crave it and more to those who chase it away.

You just reminded me of those days of hoping the ice-cream van would pass through our street, hehehe. There are things we should have taken pictures of to serve as memories or to use for future reference.

Music is part of life, if I remember some old songs when I was still very young I absolutely come to believe that everything is vanity.
