There's absolutely one thing that is cruelest than death, and that is living like you aren't alive. Being in intense pain and not being able to do a thing about it. Wishing for death and not getting it. That's what is known as hell. I don't know if you've felt that before or even gotten to see someone who was unfortunate to be in that situation.
If you've felt that hell before then, you must know how it felt. You must have those hurtful memories of them if you even lived despite them. And if you hadn't felt it before and know people who have, then, be respectful to them. Everyone is going through one thing or the other in life, so never for once ridicule someone because you are in a better position.
Going online, things I read from twitter amazed me as a human. How those kinds of people even think baffles me. The same people who we call leaders are there letting us know how a sore loser the citizens are despite the hardship faced and overcame on a daily basis.
I watched a Kmovie(Hijack 1971) yesterday and... I couldn't help the sadness that took over my heart because it was a true life event showing how the ills of society change people and get more people hurt.
How being poor means you even have no right to be smart because you'll be a disgrace to the institution you are in if you are brilliant. A child growing up with this sort of mentality and even after trying to not believe what was said to him got physically abused would surely succumb one day to end the brutality but the truth is that it won't end.
This will bring the cruelest and coldest thought to the victim's mind;
"Am I not to be born in this world?"
A child who has done nothing wrong but yet his/her existence is questioned in a country that is theirs, not even in another man's country. It is sad and distasteful!
Such things are still repeating themselves after many decades of human transformation. Working endlessly and not being able to feed yourself still, but you know what happens if you don't even work at all. Work smart! Yeah, how lovely would this have been if there's a chance to even showcase that smartness. How can someone work smart when hunger is present and very persistent? How can someone even think straight when prices of things are just insane? How can anyone still be struggling to make ends meet? When you have no one to rely on. It is hard doing things alone.
I was scrolling through #YouTube for a song that'll fit right on and I found 'One' which features James Alan Hetfield an American musician who is the lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, co-founder, and a primary songwriter of heavy metal band Metallica. And yeah, the Metallica band brought some additional songs that I'll be sharing.
Also, James Hetfield August 3rd 1963
Downey, California, U.S. which makes today his birthday. Happy birthday to him.
Now, I'll be sharing the first song that inspired me today, and here's the lyrics to the song.
One; Apocalyptica Ft James Hetfield.
Turn the page; Metallica.
Baby hold on; James Hetfield.
