The music, dance, and step.
Sweats. The drip. The undeniably pleasures. It was pure bliss! I didn't even know how it started except maybe with a feeling before the musical aspect came in. I was all on a dancing spree yesterday that even my tummy hurts- in a good way, and my muscles felt like they just caught a glimpse of heaven when the need for a shower surfaced.
Yesterday was somewhat busy and not too busy for me. In that state of busy/not too busy... I decided to cook dinner early so I'd go on a walk after cooking but, what I didn't know was the feeling yet to come. Maybe it was because today was going to be a tuesday that made my body and soup prepared for #threetunestuesday by @ablaze or was just the feeling of music fanatic that I already am that took a crazy shape? I still couldn't tell.
What I can tell is that the moment I stood up and went into the kitchen, my phone was in one hand and... just like that, I hurried back to pick up my earbud, shuffle my music list and lots and so lots of music found their way into my bloodstream in such a pace that it cold, warm and hot as I moved my legs to the beat while starting with potatoes peeling and cutting.
It was a beautiful experience for me because I'd confess it has been a while since I danced while listening to music in reality. I mostly just have the thoughts of dancing in my head while listening to music. However, yesterday I broke the ice in an amazing way that left me gasping for air after hours of dancing non-stop.
...and sweats! That's where the clinging part came in with my dress having a deep romantic battle with my skin, not letting go, not even for a breath to be taken, and I found it... relaxing? Hehe. It sure was an amazing form of exercise. The twist, turn, forward and backwards, squatting, shaking, right side, and left side movements were superb in such an imaginable way.
What I had was more than fun! It was much more than that as the song shuffled around, bringing a new form of ecstasy my way. A sight to behold. From crazy dance moves to a calmer one to an intense Nigerian dance and a little part of me hoped I had made a video.
With the dancing and music, you'd think I'd spend the whole day in the kitchen but... surprisingly, everything went faster than expected(not like I had any expectations in the first place), and you'd probably think I stopped after cooking. I almost thought I would too, but that thought never came in because I danced right to the sitting room where the real dance was showcased that I didn't even know when the bright sky turned pitch black.
I knew taking a walk wasn't going to take place anymore as dance and cooking had done that part with a racing heart, a sweaty body, and an incredible smile. So, I continued dancing, and with each dance and step taken, 6k plus steps were made.
And, below are a few songs that made it to my playslist. Maybe like I, you may find yourself with amazing dance moves as you tune in too.
And just one last juicy one to spice up the music list.
