Unplanned but the best I ever...

I had thought I wouldn't waste time outside yesterday, but a call to the hairstylist I was to meet messed up my plan, but... In a good way. I was able to take a long walk and even visited places I never knew existed.

My walk started at 12 noon after the hairstylist number was finally reachable. A day after losing my hair, one of the women I got groceries from gave me her hairstylist number when I asked where she made her hair from. But the number wasn't reachable when I called until a few days ago.

The hairstylist had promised she'd be available on Saturday, but unfortunately, things didn't go as planned. After not being able to reach her after calling twice, I left her a message on WhatsApp. When she responded, she said she wasn't in the state due to personal matters. I understood and decided to head out on time, hoping to get a place where I could make my hair, fix my nails and eyelashes as well.

But... things didn't go according to plan. The next place I had in mind was also not open. I had to move from one place to another, searching for a nice place to do my hair and the others.

That's exactly how the unplanned afternoon walk took shape. I have always preferred evening or night walks to afternoons or mornings. Walking under the sun wasn't easy, but I wasn't alone. I had music keeping me in the right rhythm as I walked on.

The first place I saw turned out to be just hair making, which made me move forward. I wanted a place where I could do everything at once and head back home instead of making my hair and fixing my nails and eye lashes somewhere else.

Hours passed by and by the time I got to the third place I saw a salon, I was almost breathless(which reminds me of Shayne song titled, Breathless) because I climbed a hill and had walked for too long. I thought I would be able to get everything done there, but... phew! I had to move forward.

After checking two more places, I finally found a place where I could do the three things I wanted but I had to use henna instead of acrylic paint as the lady doesn't do painting but she does fix eyelashes. So I had to settle for her salon. By the time I finished and paid her, darkness had already taken hold of the sky, which meant it was "The time to take a nice walk" hehe.

Walking back home, the wind blew softly, and I don't know if it was because of my new look, but I did feel like I had the best day ever!
