Hello Vibes Family,
It feels so great to back! I haven't been available because of my final exams but now I am back and almost a graduate!!!🤗🤗
This week I decided to step out of my comfort zone and do something I haven't done here before—rap.
Yes, I know, crazy, right? Most of you know me as a singer, but last night I decided to write a rap song, which is going to be the first original song i dropped on this community.
I thought about polishing it up and making it sound "perfect," but then I realized I loved it raw, just as it came to me.
The song is called Life Happens. It's inspired by some of the tough things I've seen happening around me recently. Sometimes life throws things at us, and it hurts, but in the end, it's just life happening.
In the chorus, I say, "I hope one day the sun will shine, I pray one day the sun will shine." That line hits deep for me because it's a reminder that, no matter what, brighter days are ahead.
This is me, stepping into something new, something scary, and I hope you guys feel the rawness and realness in it. It's not perfect, but that's okay because it's real. Hope you enjoy it 🩷🩷.

This week you took a risk jumping into the HIP HOP era, and I totally respect that.
We need more female emcees, and you will only get better with time if you keep practicing.
Although, I do judge rap originals and rap covers extremely hardly, more so than singing lol
I can't help it, I am equally hard on my own performances, if not more. But I just want to say that this cover was a profound song topic, I like the approach you took, blending it with your lovely singing voice on the chorus, the song theme concept was a deep and eye opening one on seeing people change over time and trying to reach them to bring them back to a place of spiritual and healthy stability, some go on that prodigal son and daughter path, never to actually return home, but all things are possible through Christ.
Your lyrics were thoughtful and connective, they told a story effectively, however some rhythmic patterns didn't fit well for the flow and the rhyme schemes could have been much stronger to structure the verse better.
Yes your song is real and that is what makes it effective and powerful, but I hope you aim to perfect this track later on so it is more impactful when you share it again in the future. Someone out there needs to hear the message in this track. Just imagine how it can change their perspective... I've had songs that have prevented people from committing suicide, so you never know who is truly listening to you in the moments that they need to hear good solid life advice.
Please work on your breathing control and delivery, but for your first try, your flow was for the most part fairly smooth and I did enjoy listening to you rap and the tonality you had. You definitely have some attributes, and don't let this be your ONLY hip hop entry.
I'll be looking forward to a variety of entries from you from now on since you are very talented and gifted, and you are challenging yourself once again, which is what a True Artist does, I hope you grow from my constructive criticism and you are adding layers and levels to your versatility, and you earned my recognition once again.
Just wait until we get to our collaboration one day. I am knocking a few out these upcoming weeks, so it'll be soon. :)
