This song resonates with me because it beautifully captures the bittersweet essence of reminiscing. It's a soul-stirring reflection on the passage of time.

Now, let me share a personal story that connects deeply with my choice of singing "When We Were Young. Recently, one of my oldest and closest university friends, who also happened to be my neighbor, graduated and moved out. As he embarked on a new chapter, bidding farewell to our 'home' of three years, I couldn't help but feel the emotional weight of change.

Choosing "When We Were Young" for this week's theme perfectly captures the emotions of seeing someone you cherish move on. The lyrics mirror the emotional realization that time has transformed our lives, but the memories remain etched in our hearts. As I sang this song, I couldn't help but reflect on the shared laughter, late-night conversations, and the profound bond we developed over the years. The feeling was a mixture of joy and sadness for the growth and evolution of our friendship. I truly wish him the best and I will miss him deeply💕💕.
