When things turn differently

Some people believe in the power of imagination and they live more in their dreams than they live in reality. This has been the problem of many people who seem to be satisfied with just dreaming and making plans without moving a muscle to achieve what they want. It hasn't been easy this week for me as there are a lot of bills to clear off and things to buy in preparation for the little journey I want to embark on.
It has been said that when someone comes to their home town especially if the environment is good that it will always favor them but in my case it was different.

Since I came back, It has somehow been from one serious challenge to another. I had to go out to meet people in search of solutions, this is what I had been doing until I met a woman who then helped me solve the majority of the problems that I was facing.
I didn't have plans of leaving my hometown any time soon but seeing the unfavorable situations I faced, knowing fully well it was the hand work of someone who is also. Living with me in the same apartment.

Today is quite different from other days for me, the day when I remembered most of the old school songs which I usually cherish. Playing these songs today and singing along makes a whole lot of difference. One of my observations is that most old school songs have the ability to inspire and uplift the hearts and minds of its listeners.
There is a clear difference between songs presented by the musicians of the old and the ones presented now.

It seems as if the majority of singers flow with the trend of what's happening in the world or maybe they are the ones who create the trends themselves. I remember around two or three years ago when a musician in his music video portrayed not wearing a belt as an identity to a certain group he called Marlins which is a name he gave to his fans.
Before the year ran out, the majority of the people, especially men of the streets, started showing up without belts even when their trousers clearly seemed to be dropping down from their waists.

Also I discovered that aside from fashion the music also influences our thought process and vocabularies just the same way comedians do sometimes in movies and TV shows. It is important to take note that proper care should be taken on the type of music one has to be listening to. With the right set of music in your album one can easily be positively inspired, encouraged and healed.
