God works in mysterious ways - My weekend experience
Hello my beautiful families and friends here on hive, today i want to use this opportunity to testify of what God did for me on the 29th of March which is yesterday on Saturday. It was such a peaceful looking day with one of the best weathers since the start of the dry season which we are currently experiencing here in the Eastern part of Nigeria. I had to go with my sister to Onitsha market which is also the largest market in Africa. She accompanied me to the market so we can buy some drugs because I've not been healthy for some weeks now and after I had gone for a laboratory test some drugs were prescribed according to what was found. We went to Onitsha market with ease and encountered no difficulties on the road, in fact the only issue I experienced yesterday in the big market place was network issues. The network was so poor that it was even difficult to do any bank transfers to pay for the drugs I bought. Soon after like thirty minutes of trying and walking around to change locations, I was finally able to transfer some money which is for the payment of the drugs and then collected those drugs and left with my sister.
On our way out of the market, my sister decided to buy some of the kitchen materials she needs as well as some foodstuffs. When they went across the highway before entering the taxi that took us home. My sister decided to drop by our fellowship center where she'll be meeting up with someone who had been calling her while we were in the market. Our fellowship center is not far from our home so when I got on the road to my house I dropped from the vehicle while she went a little further along the road before dropping. Before we went our separate ways she had already given me a message to pass to one of her employees.
So when I got home the first thing I did was to drop the drugs securely in my room out of the reach of my sister's children. Then I went to meet her employee to pass the message across.
I had just finished passing the message when I heard a noise of someone approaching but my view was blocked by the walls of the building but I never took the entrance as anything serious because sometimes people just enter and leave the compound.

The next thing that happened is that I saw the AK47 rifle from the corner of the wall yet it took me some extra seconds to process what I actually saw. Within a blink of an eye the person behind the rifle came into view and he was in a police uniform. I was with the lady whom I was talking to when the police came into view and immediately called me and when I approached him, he told another policeman to search me and it happened that there were very many policemen surrounding the area. So one of the followed me outside of the compound and told another one close to their vehicle to search me. I saw the vehicles they came with and it was not police vehicle. They all came in private cars maybe to not be easily spotted.
So the one outside started searching me and even asked me to pour everything in my little bag out for them to see and I complied.
Also during the time of searching I remember the popular rumor that Nigerian policemen use to put illegal substances into people's bags and pockets while searching them just to make sure they have the evidence for people's arrest which will in turn lead their captive to pay a huge ransom into their hands for their freedom.
Well God just did everything for me because I can't say it's because of my carefulness, anything would have been implanted into any of my pockets. After they searched me thoroughly they didn't find anything, so they allowed me to go but then found some other guys around the corner and arrested them and put them in the vehicle while they told me to go and I left.
I'm so grateful to God because I know he saved me from what would have become a big trouble.

Honestly speaking, a lot of people in Nigeria today are in prison because of what they know nothing about and there's no one to help speak for them in their situations, even the judiciary is corrupt and to get a good lawyer large sum of money is still needed and some who have been in the government position in nigeria have proven that one can live above the law and people can still be captive even when the court have given clearance for their discharge.
In all things I'm grateful to God and I pray for change in Nigeria and other countries like it and for world peace.
Thanks for stopping by to read my post.
