A day well spent

Tonight is such a beautiful night, one which I love more than most other nights where I just had to lay on my bed after the day's stress from work and doze off immediately. Tonight I took my time to make sure everything is properly laid where it should be, I had really taken quality time during the day to tidy up the whole house. To me it's unacceptable to be working for someone whether in a company or what and make sure everything falls in its perfect place in your working place but back at home, your home is a mess.
Today I said never again and that has always been my way, I took the time off today to reorganize myself.
Not everyone really understands that after seeing beautiful well kept places and enjoying the serenity of those environments then returning home to a well unkempt place, it really affects psychologically.

One good thing that helped me achieve my purpose of staying at home today was that I didn't let any of my friends know I'll be staying back. If only they knew some of them might have taken some serious decision of not going to their working place today.
When I made all my cleaning equipment ready it was around 11:59 AM. At that time the brightness of the sun was even clear enough to reveal every dark corner of my packing store outside. Where I started my cleaning up was from my sitting room and from there to my bedroom, kitchen and the rest of the house.
While in the cause of cleaning the house I was able to locate most of my missing items which I recovered because many among them were still valuable just that they may have fallen or be misplaced but the good thing to be grateful of is that whether misplaced or fallen, it all happened within my house and I'm glad to fine certain things which some good old memories are attached to.

There's nothing better than living in a clean and healthy house. Immediately I finished cleaning the house, though I felt a bit stressed but I was filled with happiness seeing that every corner is now glittering without spots.
I made sure to apply the new air freshener which I had planned to check out in my apartment as it is a new brand which many of my friends seem to be recommending without being paid for a proper advertisement by the air freshener company. Though deep down within myself, I know there must be something good they felt about the scene of the air freshener.

When I was ready to apply the air freshener and remove it from its nylon coverage the scent was heavenly, I almost drifted off to the dream world as I sat on my chair. I picked up the remote from the table and turned on my music player. I know for sure that if everything concerning happiness and enjoyment must be complete then music must have to be involved whether directly or indirectly. Even when I was ready to enter my storehouse, I chose to put one of my airpod in my ear so the other ear would be free to listen to any other thing happening within my surroundings.
In all things I'm so glad because I finished all the clean up and even have some time left to take a good rest.

Tonight as I recall of these things which I've done for my own good and for the good of my neighbors, my friends and visitors who wouldn't love to spend any moment in dirty and possibly contaminated environment, I know for sure that I myself feel so good and enjoy this act of cleaning because clearly it is said that cleanliness is next to Godliness.
