Hey guys! Yesterday we had our #trlistehpud competition. It was another strong turnout and a fun, exciting day. I had the highest number of entries for myself, but I don't think I'm going to win. My competition is with myself. Each participation shows the work I did in the previous month. I worked well this month. Of course, compared to other months. I hope my participation and my struggle with myself will continue. As the baboz of the winning month, I had a celebration on the evening of the competition. 😂 I had my friend Mev with me at the celebration. Since I have already posted about the place where we celebrated, I will tell you about another tavern where we went with Mev about a week ago, not yesterday evening; Bostanlı Meyhanesi.
Bostanlı Meyhanesi is between Bostanlı and Mavişehir, closer to Mavişehir. This means that it is one more luxurious than the Bostanlı side. This also means; expensive. 😂 That was my thought. But I realised it wasn't. This place is a Mev invention. 😂 I heard about this place for the first time. Of course I liked it. Because Mev has never taken me to a place I didn't like before.
When we went there was live music. Normally, I don't like live music in a tavern. In fact, I don't like loud music, because in a tavern, you drink raki and raki makes you chat. Loud music interrupts the conversation. Everyone shouts and talks. This causes a big noise pollution. But the live music here was not like that. A musician with a reed in his hand was playing his reed and singing his song in a voice that could only be heard. His voice was not so loud that it drowned out the noise at the table, but it was enough to interrupt the conversations at the other tables and make everyone hear the voices at their own table. This is exactly my expectation of music in a pub. I couldn't take a photo of him because I was waiting for him to go to the toilet to take a photo of him, because he ended the music in the meantime.
The portions were small. However, in terms of flavour and freshness, the food and appetisers were good. We drank raki here, which I had bought from outside. It is free to bring raki from outside here too. I usually prefer such places anyway. Although it was strange that this was the case in this tavern, it was nice.
The only thing that surprises me in such places is the average age. The table that lowers the average age in such taverns I go to is always my table. 😂 Old generation taverns are usually preferred by the elderly. This is both good and bad. The good side is that there is no fight. There is not much noise either. Although, some uncles and aunties, when there is a crowded table, may attempt attractions such as loud singing and high-pitched laughter. 😂 When I mention the past, I think they think they are still young because of the effect of raki. But then they warn themselves and become quiet again. The bad part is the question that comes to my mind every time; "am I old?".
Of course I'm old. But not that old. Even though we agree with the old people about the old generation Meyhane, I am still young because they are not very keen on techno. 😂 Also, in some places, I don't like the musicians who come from outside with darbuka, violin etc. The old people love them too. 😂
Bostanlı Meyhanesi is a very pleasant place. When we checked the bill, we were actually a little angry. Because there was an item called "outside drinks" on the bill. When we asked about this event, which we encountered for the first time, we got the answer "it's everywhere". I know this answer. It means "there is no explanation, no logic, and if there is, I don't know it". But we understood the logic later. The money taken under the name of "quver" in other places was divided into two as quver and drinks from outside. The prices were very reasonable.
Bostanlı Meyhanesi was nice. It is a perfect place with the sweet old people at the side tables, delicious appetisers and food, and a musician with the appropriate voice. I wish everyone happiness...

Selam millet! Dün #trlistehpud yarışmamız vardı. Gene güçlü bir katılım ve eğlenceli, heyecanlı bir gündü. Kendi adıma en yüksek katılımı sağladım. Gene de dereceye girebileceğimi sanmıyorum. Benin yarışım, kendimle zaten. Her katılım, bir önceki ay, yaptığım işi gösteriyor. Bu ay iyi çalışmışım. Tabii ki diğer aylara göre. Umarım katılımım ve kendimle olan mücadelem devam eder. Kendimi geçip, kazanan ayın babozu olarak, yarışma akşamı bir kutlama yaptım. 😂 Kutlamada yanımda arkadaşım, Mev vardı. Kutlama yaptığımız yerle ilgili, daha önce paylaşım yaptığım için dün akşamı değil, bir hafta kadar önce Mev ile gittiğimiz başka bir meyhaneyi anlatacağım; Bostanlı Meyhanesi.
Bostanlı Meyhanesi, Bostanlı ile Mavişehir arasında, Mavişehir’e daha yakın. Bunun anlamı şu, Bostanlı tarafına göre bir gömlek daha lüks. Bunun da anlamı şu; pahalı. 😂 Bu benim düşüncemdi. Fakat, öyle olmadığını fark ettim. Burası da bir Mev icadı. 😂 Ben burayı ilk defa duydum. Tabii ki beğendim. Çünkü Mev, daha önce beni hiç beğenmediğim bir yere götürmedi.
Gittiğimizde burada canlı müzik vardı. Ben normalde, meyhanede, canlı müzik olayını sevmiyorum. Aslında, yüksek sesli müzik sevmiyorum. Çünkü, meyhanede, rakı içilir, rakı da muhabbet ettirir. Yüksek sesli müzik muhabbeti böler. Herkes bağırarak konuşur. Bu, büyük bir gürültü kirliliğine yol açar. Fakat buradaki canlı müzik öyle değildi. Elinde sazıyla, bir müzisyen, sadece duyulabilecek bir sesle hem sazını çalıp hem de şarkısını söylüyordu. Sesi masadaki sesi bastıracak kadar değil, diğer masalarda konuşulanların arasına girip, herkesin kendi masasındaki sesleri, kendilerine duyuracak kadardı. Benim de meyhanedeki müzik sesi beklentim tam olarak bu. Ben fotoğrafını çekmek için tuvalete gitmeyi beklediğim için, fotoğraflayamadım. Çünkü o arada müziği sonlandırdı.
Porsiyonları, küçüktü. Fakat, lezzet ve tazelik açısından, yemek ve mezeleri güzeldi. Biz burada, gene benim dışarıdan alıp getirdiğim rakıyı içtik. Burada da rakıyı dışarıdan getirmek serbest. Ben zaten, genelde böyle yerleri tercih ediyorum. Bu meyhanede böyle olması garip olsa da güzeldi.
Bu tarz mekanlarda, beni şaşırtan tek şey yaş ortalaması. Gittiğim, bu tarz meyhanelerde yaş ortalamasını düşüren masa, hep benim masam oluyor. 😂 Eski nesil meyhaneleri, genelde yaşlılar tercih ediyor. Böyle olması hem iyi hem kötü. İyi tarafı, kavga gürültü olmaması. Çok ses de olmuyor. Gerçi, bazı amca ve teyzeler, kalabalık bir masa olduğunda, yüksek sesli şarkı söyleme, tiz kahkahalar atmak gibi atraksiyonlara yeltenebiliyorlar. 😂 Eskiden bahsedince, rakının etkisiyle kendilerini hala genç sanıyorlar sanırım. Ama sonra kendi kendilerini ikaz edip tekrar, sessizleşiyorlar. Kötü tarafı ise her seferinde aklıma gelen; “ben yaşlandım mı?” sorusu.
Tabii ki yaşlandım. Fakat, bu kadar da değil. Yaşlılarla, eski nesil Meyhane konusunda uzlaşsak da techno konusunda çok istekli olmadıkları için ben hala gencim. 😂 Bir de bazı mekanlarda, dışarıdan, ellerinde darbuka, keman vs. ile gelip masa masa dolaşan müzisyenleri sevmiyorum. Yaşlılar onları da çok seviyorlar. 😂
Bostanlı Meyhanesi, çok keyifli bir yer. Hesabı kontrol ettiğimizde, biraz kızdık aslında. Çünkü hesapta, dışarıdan içki diye bir kalem vardı. İlk defa karşılaştığımız bu olayı sorduğumuzda, “her yerde var abi” cevabı aldık. Ben bu cevabı biliyorum. “Bir açıklaması, bir mantığı yok, varsa da ben bilmiyorum.” demek bu. Ama biz daha sonra mantığını anladık. Diğer yerlerde “kuver” adı altında alınan parayı, burada kuver ve dışarıdan içki diye ikiye ayırmışlar. Fiyatları gayet uygundu.
Bostanlı Meyhanesi güzeldi. Yan masalardaki tatlış yaşlılarıyla, lezzetli meze ve yemekleri, uygun sesli müzisyeni ile mükemmel bir yer. Herkese mutluluklar diliyorum…
Meyhane gayet güzel görünüyor. Dediğin gibi canlı müzikli bir ortamı bende sevmiyorum. Açık havada ya da sahil kenarlarında olan kafelerde çalınan canlı gitar performansı benim hoşuma gidiyor. Dışardan rakı getirilmesine izin vermesi de garipmiş. Yaş ortalamasını da düşürmüşsün. 😄 Güzel ve keyifli bir paylaşımdı. Teşekkürler.
