Vibing to some Afrobeats (TTT)
Majority of today was pretty lackluster. I have noticed Tuesdays always tend to be stressful for me and this one wasn't any different. But then just like last week there was a silver lining, that one specific moment when all the work and boredom aren't felt anymore. Let's just say I received some good news I'd been eagerly waiting for and it changed my mood from super low to super happy.
Whenever I'm happy I listen to afrobeat songs which is why I will be sharing some of the ones I've been listening to recently for this week's Three Tunes Tuesday.
Now usually I'm someone who's always in for the lyrics of a song and I like listening to songs that currently tell the story of how I'm feeling at that particular point, but obviously it's not possible to find some songs, especially when you just want to vibe. I like Afrobeats because even when the lyrics are not necessarily supposed to be about vibing the beat gives the vibe. Someone could be talking about sad moments but the beat will make you dance, lol. The lyrics don't really matter to me in this scenario, the vibes are enough. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
The first one I'll be sharing with you guys is called Charm by Rema.
Rema is an artist I really like listening to. Ever since I first heard Dumebi, the song that brought him to the limelight, I've been listening to his music. He has a lot of hits and this one is no different. I won't lie, I also love the lyrics of this song (guess I can't get over my love for lyrics). The song is just a Vibe.
The second song I'll be sharing is called Scatter by Fireboy DML
Fireboy is another young artist that has been making waves. He also made lots of hits especially in the year 2020 (when this song was made). The song is somewhat old now, but I still like to listen to it cause it's a vibe. It's a beautiful song, and I like the music video. This was during Fireboys prime. I remember having this song on repeat then. Good times :)
The third song I'll be sharing today is from the African Giant himself Burna Boy. The name is Last Last.
This song did numbers both nationally and internationally. As I'm listening to it right now I'm moving my head to the beat. Not much to say just vibe.
And that's it for my Three Tunes Tuesday this week. I hope you listen to these songs and vibe to them like I do. Special thanks to @ablaze for hosting TTT. Have a great day/night.

My favourite of these three was Scatter. That was fun, and had a pretty nifty video, too.
Hehe, glad you liked it. The video was top notch.
