All the way to France (TTT)
Music is universal. It speaks to the soul. When the sound of good music flows into your ears you can't help but to feel the rhythm and you may even begin to dance or move to the beat. Lately I've been finding myself looking for more in music. I listen to music a lot so I find myself getting tired of the songs I've been listening to over and over again.
I realized that it's not always easy finding new music that I also really like, so I've just been going rather randomly. Usually on Spotify I check new releases and recommendations. I also search for soundtracks of movies, that's where I tend to find a couple hidden gems.
Anyways today new music I liked actually found its way to me through tiktok. I accidentally clicked on a notification and before I knew it I found myself there. The algorithm is rather crazy because even though I didn't intend to get there I found myself scrolling through cause I was enjoying what I was seeing. Eventually I came across a video showing some of the most popular French songs that have trended on Tiktok. I noticed a lot of the songs on the list are from the same musician so I decided I had to check her out. Her name is Indila. She's a 39 year old French pop singer with lots of nice songs. For whatever reason her last song release was in 2019.
I don't understand or speak French, neither am I learning it at the moment, but I really enjoy listening to her music. The French accent makes it nice as well. In the spirit of Three Tunes Tuesday, I'll be showing you three of my best songs from her.
The first song is called AINSI BAS LA VIDA
Not understanding a word makes the video a bit more fun for me, as I'm trying to create storylines based on what I see. Like now from this video I see that she's come from a different town after being chased, in search of someone, then I'm also seeing what looks like she has powers, lol. I'm probably wrong about what the song is about, but it's still fun to watch and guess while enjoying the rhythm.
The second song I'm recommending from her is called TOURNER DANS LE VIDE
This one is a lot slower, and from the video I can tell it's sad. But I like it, plus the sped up version has been used for so many Andrew Tate shorts so it kind of stuck.
The third song and final is called DERNIERE DANSE
I kind of find it weird that the same video was used for both this and the first one, but I like the rhythm as well, so why not.
There, that has been my Three Tunes Tuesday. I really hope you enjoy listening to these songs. Tell me what you think in the comment section. Also I'd like to ask that you please share your favorite song that you don't understand the lyrics. Also special thanks to @ablaze for hosting #ttt.
Ain Si BA La Vida and the last one both are very famous on tik tok. I have listened both of them. Amazing tunes.
