The Corrs Unplugged: Going Stripped-Down
The Corrs became huge sellers from their second album "Talk on Corners". That said album also paved the way for their debut album "Forgiven Not Forgotten" to sell more. Instead of releasing the third album after "Talk On Corners", The Corrs has collaborated with MTV as they were featured on the series of the network called "MTV Unplugged", and released an album from the performance called "The Corrs Unplugged". The "Unplugged" show actually features recording artists in stripped-down performances of their songs.
"The Corrs Unplugged" has released "Radio" as the lead single, which the song was eventually added with a more electric version on their third studio album "In Blue". The song was a hit then in Asia, while it peaked at number 18 in UK Singles Chart.

"Old Town (This Boy Is Cracking Up)" was released as a single in few countries as it reached number 73 in Canadian Adult Contemporary chart. It received heavy airplay on radio and MTV Asia back then, along with their song "At Your Side". "Old Town (This Boy Is Cracking Up)" had a studio version eventually and was added on their album "Home".

The Corrs also had their own live version of the song "Everybody Hurts", which was part of the "Unplugged" album. Songs from their albums "Forgiven Not Forgotten" and "Talk on Corners" are also performed on "Unplugged.
"The Corrs Unplugged" has reached number 5 Eurowide, and number 7 in UK Albums Chart. It was certified 2x platinum both in Europe and UK.
I love this music group! Their album "Forgiven Not Forgotten" is part of my young soundtrack.
