One Love: Blue's Sophomore Release

Blue has achieved fame on their debut album "All Rise" especially in United Kingdom, and Asia. They are actually set for American market however, due to a remark one of their members made during their early days, the plan was scrapped. Still, the band gained attention internationally, and released their second album "One Love" just a year after their debut.

The title track "One Love" was released as the first single, which sounds similar to some songs from their debut album, but this one has more pop elements. The song became a huge hit across Asia, and also a number 13 hit on Eurochart Hot 100. In their home country UK, the song was a number 3 hit, and was certified Gold Record there. Its music video has amassed more than 140 million views on YouTube.

Blue had a collaboration with Elton John, which was cover version of the original song by the latter. It was "Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word", which was also released as the second single from "One Love" album. The formula worked, and it was even considered as one of the best songs recorded by the band. "Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word" became a global hit too, specifically reaching number 2 in Europe, and number 1 in UK, going Gold Record there too. Collectively with two video versions, it has gained more than 170 million YouTube views.

"U Make Me Wanna" was released as the third and final single from "One Love" is an R&B and pop song. The single performed quite moderately in Europe with number 17 peak. It was also a hit across in Asia just like "One Love" and "Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word". In UK, the song peaked at number 4, considerably a hit. It has earned more than 80 million views on YouTube.

With the success of its singles, "One Love" album is considered a hit. It was double platinum in Europe, while it has earned 4x platinum certification in United Kingdom.
