Little Mix Second Album "Salute"

Little Mix was actually hyped after winning from UK X-Factor. They really hit it big with number 1 singles, and a platinum album but they struggled on their second album, as well as crossing the international market. "DNA", their first album, for sure became a number 4 album in America. There are headlines that it broke the record of Spice Girls' first week chart position of "Spice" in Billboard 200, but it never surpass the 1990's girl group's sales of their debut.

"Salute" came in pursuit of doing better than their debut. They released the single "Move" as the lead. It failed to reached number 1 in UK Singles Chart, though it was still a top 3 hit, and a platinum record. It failed to enter the Billboard Hot 100, which their song "Wings" has made into. "Move" reached number 22 in US Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100.

Little Mix toned down for the midtempo ballad "Little Me". Too bad the song failed to make it to the top 10 of UK Singles Chart, though it peaked at number 14 with Silver Record certifications.

The title track "Salute" was released as the third and final single. The song was known for its strong drum beats, with rap and singing from the members of the group. It's a return to the top 10 for the girls peaking at number 6 in UK, and certified platinum.

"Salute" the album could've done better though. Promotion was cut off, and the girls has focused to work on their third album. "Salute" peaked at number 4 in UK, and it went platinum. It reached number 6 in the US, though it didn't receive a certification.
