Human Clay by Creed

Creed is one of the bands in United States to make it big during the late 1990s and early 2000s. It started with their debut album "My Own Prison" which has sold around 6 million copies in the US.

However, Creed did much better on their second album "Human Clay", which also gained them international hits. The album was led by the grunge rock track "Higher". The song became their first US top 10 peaking at number 7 in Billboard Hot 100, while a number 4 hit in US Mainstream chart. It was a number 47 chart hit in UK Singles Chart.

"What If" was released as the second single for the album, and was also used as a soundtrack for the soundtrack of "Scream 3" movie. The single didn't do that well only charting at number 2 of Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles, which is equivalent to number #102 after Billboard Hot 100. It entered number 3 of US Mainstream Rock chart though.

Finally, Creed scored their first number 1 in Billboard Hot 100 and US Mainstream chart with the rock and ballad track "With Arms Wide Open". It also peaked at number 13 in the UK Singles Chart. "Are You Ready?" was the final single though it wasn't a hit charting in component charts of Billboard particularly at Alternative and Mainstream Rock chart.

"Human Clay" album was such a hit selling 11 million copies in United States alone, while it was a Gold Record in UK. There's global sales estimates exceeding 20 million copies sold.
