Double Dutchess: Fergie's Second Album Released After a Decade
Fergie achieved success over her debut album "The Dutchess", which was released after the success of Black Eyed Peas' album "Monkey Business", her move to do solo at that time was highly supported by her group mates. After that, she returned with Black Eyed Peas with the success of their albums "The E.N.D." and "The Beginning". It took awhile before she released her second album, around 11 years after her debut. She has focused on her family at that time, and other ventures she gave her focus on.
In 2014, Fergie released the song "L.A. Love (La La)" as the first single off her second album. However, it took three years for the release of the parent album after "L.A. Love (La La)". The song was very popular in UK then reaching number 3, and number 1 in UK Hip Hop/R&B chart. In Billboard Hot 100, it charted moderately at number 27, while higher at US Mainstream chart at number 20. It was certified platinum in the US.

"M.I.L.F. $" was released as the second single, but a year before "Double Dutchess" was released. It was a moderate hit in Billboard Hot 100 reaching number 34, and 56 in UK Singles Chart.
"Life Goes On" was the third single, and was released 10 months before the album, and Fergie toned down a bit in the song. The single failed to gain impact peaking only at number 39 of US Adult Top 40. "You Already Know" was the single released closest to the album, which has charter moderately too, at number 96 of UK Singles Chart.

"Save It Til Morning" and "A Little Work" were released as the fifth and sixth singles respectively, and both failed to make an impact too. The latter peaked at number 36 of US Mainstream chart.
"Double Dutchess" is considered by many as a flop, and paved the way for Fergie to focus on other things. It peaked at number 49 in UK Singles Chart, and number 19 on Billboard 200.
