[PL / ENG] My Actifit Report Card: December 16 2023

W przyszłym tygodniu ekipa wchodzi na teren budowy, więc nie ma szastania pieniędzmi, dlatego świąteczną sesję zdjęciową ogarnęliśmy po taniemu - w galerii handlowej :D a tak serio, to bez sensu chyba robić takie pamiątki co roku. Zrobimy może za rok albo za dwa - jak będziemy w większym gronie. W tym roku może @wallar nam zrobi jakieś ładne zdjęcia i będzie super :)

Next week the team will enter our construction site, then there is no point in wasting money, so we did the Christmas photo session cheaply - in a shopping mall :D But seriously, it doesn't make sense to do such souvenirs every year. We will do it maybe in a year or two - when we are in a larger group. This year maybe @wallar will take some nice photos of us and it will be great :)

Tak, zebrałam się z ogromnym trudem i pojechaliśmy na zakupy, bo wciąż jesteśmy nieco w plecy z prezentami świątecznymi. Bardzo się cieszę, że w części rodziny - tej z mojej strony - już zrezygnowaliśmy ze zwyczajów kupowania sobie wzajemnie tych prezentów. Rok temu robiliśmy losowanie - każdy kupował jednej osobie - ale w tym w ogóle odchodzimy od tego tematu. Dzieci dostaną, to jasne. Ale dorosłym na nic potrzebne to sztuczne nakręcanie potrzeb i konsumpcjonizmu.
Pozostała jednak druga część rodziny, gdzie i tak jest nieźle, bo prezenty często są większe, składkowe, ale nie wyszło tak w przypadku każdej osoby i musimy jeszcze biegać i szukać inspiracji. A został tydzień, hehe.

Yes, I pulled myself together with great difficulty and we went shopping, because we are still a bit behind with Christmas gifts. I am very glad that in some part of our family - my side - we have already given up the custom of buying each other these gifts. A year ago we did a lottery - everyone bought for one person - but this year we are moving away from this topic altogether. The kids will get gifts, of course. But adults don't need this artificial stimulation of needs and consumerism.
However, there remains the other part of the family, where it's still not that bad, because the gifts are often larger, contributed by all the rest members of the family, but it didn't work out that way for every person and we still have to run around and look for inspiration. And there's a week left, hehe.

Szczerze mówiąc, ledwo pełzłam przez te wszystkie sklepy i najlepiej się czułam siedząc na obiadku w Pasibusie lub na kawie w Mont Blanc. Z prezentów wyszły nici, ale przynajmniej Stary sobie kupił nowe buty zimowe, a Bombel wybrał buty Polo, rozmiar 47, i za nic nie chciał ich zdjąć.

Honestly, I could barely crawl through all these shops and I felt best sitting for dinner at Pasibus or for coffee at Mont Blanc. The gifts were threadbare, but at least the Old Man bought himself new winter shoes, and Bombel chose Polo shoes, size 47, and he didn't want to take them off.
