[PL / ENG] Bajecznie / Fabulous My Actifit Report Card: December 4 2023

Bombel do żłobka, Matka na spacer. Planowałam w sumie pójść tylko na drobne zakupy i do paczkomatu, ale jak wyszłam z bloku słońce tak zalotnie poświeciło na mnie, że automatycznie skierowałam swoje kroki nad Rozlewisko.

Bombel to nursery, Mother for a walk. I was only planning to go shopping and to the parcel locker, but when I left the building, the sun shone so coquettishly on me that I automatically directed my steps towards the Pool.

A wyszłam trochę nieprzygotowana do takich śnieżnych wędrówek - nie miałam na nogach mianowicie moich futurystycznych śniegowców, a moje codzienne pseudo-glany. Podeszwa jest tam dość trepkowata, więc wydawało mi się, że pod tym kątem będzie ok, bardziej bałam się przemoczenia od brodzenia w śniegu do połowy łydki. Jakież było moje zaskoczenie, kiedy okazało się, że buty wprawdzie są suche, ale zupełnie nie trzymają się śliskiego gruntu pod cienką warstwą śniegu.

And I was a bit unprepared for such snowy hikes - I wasn't wearing my futuristic snow boots, but my everyday pseudo-boot boots. The sole there is quite trebbly, so I thought it would be ok from this angle, I was more afraid of getting wet from wading in the snow up to the middle of my calf. Imagine my surprise when it turned out that the shoes were dry, but they did not grip the slippery ground under a thin layer of snow.

Ledwo skręciłam w ścieżkę na błonia i już pogratulowałam sobie tej decyzji. Czapy śniegu utrzymujące się na gałęziach drzew, połyskujące w promieniach słońca, to widok zaiste przecudny. Następuje natychmiastowa poprawa samopoczucia, wzrost chęci do życia i optymizmu.

As soon as I turned onto the path to the meadows, I already congratulated myself on this decision. Caps of snow lingering on the tree branches, glistening in the sun's rays, are a truly wonderful sight. There is an immediate improvement in well-being, an increase in the will to live and optimism.

Udało mi się nawet niechcący uchwycić takie niecodzienne ujęcie szczytu drzew i mojej czapki. Czyli nawet artyzm i kreatywność wzrasta!

I even managed to accidentally capture such an unusual shot of the top of the trees and my hat. So even artistry and creativity increases!

Był też pan na rowerze. Napisałam do męża "To mogliśmy być my", ale tak naprawdę to w życiu. Ja klnę latem, jak muszę przez błotko przejechać :) Tutaj zimą bym się naprawdę zabiła. Jestem totalną ofermą jeśli chodzi o utrzymywanie równowagi na śliskim.

There was also a man on a bicycle. I wrote to my husband "It could have been us", but in reality it was in real life. I swear in the summer when I have to drive through the mud :) I would really kill myself here in the winter. I'm a total looser when it comes to keeping my balance on slippery surfaces.

A dodam, że i tak było bardzo ślisko, zwłaszcza, że nie miałam futurystycznych śniegowców.

And I will add that it was still very slippery, especially since I didn't have futuristic snow boots.

Wyszłam w końcu na ścieżkę wzdłuż Rozlewiska i już tłumaczę, co było śliskie. Jak widać, śniegu leży gruba warstwa. Spacerowicze wydeptali taką wąską ścieżkę. Jest tam pod spodem po prostu lód, przykryty cienką warstwą śniegu. To na tym podłożu rozjeżdżałam się we wszystkie strony.

I finally got onto the path along the Pool and I'm already explaining what was slippery. As you can see, there is a thick layer of snow. Walkers have trodden such a narrow path. It's just ice underneath, covered with a thin layer of snow. It was on this basis that I was going in all directions.

Raz niemal już upadłam, ale cudem zachowałam równowagę, machając rękami niczym Tappi biorący od Paplaka lekcje latania. Chwilę później rozjechały mi się nogi, ale ustałam dzięki profesjonalnemu telemarkowi. Niestety, coś mi przy tym chrupnęło w gnatach :)

I almost fell once, but miraculously kept my balance, swinging my arms like Tappi taking flying lessons from Paplak. A moment later my legs fell apart, but I was able to stand thanks to a professional telemark. Unfortunately, something crunched in my bones :)

W każdym razie udało mi się przejść cały dystans bez upadku, sukces.

Anyway, I managed to walk the entire distance without falling, success.

A tu tymczasem chyba trwa ptasia narada.

Meanwhile, there seems to be a bird meeting going on here.

Przybył też jeden z łabędzi.

One of the swans also came.

@ewkaw, @priyanarc, a co sądzicie o zimie w takim słonecznym wydaniu? Poprzednie, ponure i w trakcie śniezycy miało swój urok, ale ja, jako osoba niesłychanie wrażliwa na światło lub jego brak, zdecydowanie wolę tę słoneczną wersję :)

@ewkaw, @priyanarc, what do you think about such a sunny winter? The previous one, gloomy and during a snowstorm, had its charm, but as a person who is extremely sensitive to light or its lack, I definitely prefer this sunny version :)
