Hacía mucho que no compartía una reseña musical por acá, y esta en particular la tenía pendiente desde hace semanas. El cantante colombiano Manuel Turizo hace casi un mes sacó un nuevo álbum, que desde el primer momento llamó mucho mi atención, y es que tiene canciones increíbles en el, y de cierta forma lo presentí, jajaj. Cabe destacar que nunca he sido fan empedernida de su música, pero si la disfruto, y con este álbum admito que me he acercado un poco más al cantante, al punto de querer asistir a un concierto de el alguna vez, jeje. Pero en fin, sin más introducción, les comartiré una breve reseña de "2000", cuyo disco le hace homenaje a sus orígenes (ya que en ese año nació el cantante) y está compuesto de diferentes estilos y letras románticas, que siempre han caracterizado a MTZ. Espero de antemano puedan disfrutar de este Review Musical.

It's been a long time since I've shared a music review here, and this one in particular I had it pending for weeks. Colombian singer Manuel Turizo almost a month ago released a new album, which from the first moment caught my attention, and it has amazing songs in it, and somehow I felt it, hahahah. It should be noted that I have never been a hardcore fan of his music, but I do enjoy it, and with this album I admit that I have gotten a little closer to the singer, to the point of wanting to attend a concert of his sometime, hehe. But anyway, without further introduction, I will give you a brief review of "2000", whose album pays homage to its origins (since the singer was born in that year) and is composed of different styles and romantic lyrics, which have always characterized MTZ. La Bachata

Esta canción es uno de los más grandes éxitos de MTZ, no es canción propia del álbum, salió el año pasado sorprendiendo a todo el mundo con este género, el cual a mi parecer se le da bastante bien a pesar de no ser su fuerte. Esta canción sonó demasiado y aún lo sigue haciendo, personalmente ya no la escucho con tanta frecuencia, la he aburrido un poco pero no deja de ser un buen tema para bailar y cantar a pulmón. Es una canción de despecho, en donde Manuel deshoga esa decepción de que le hayan fallado, y aunque sabe que algún día la va a olvidar, le cuesta, sobretodo porque recuerdo momentos y canciones que le llegó a dedicar. Deseando que Dios cuide a ambos y que esta chica no haga lo mismo cuando se vuelva a enamorar. Y dentro de todo esto, una frase que me parece increíble, acertada (ya que de toda experiencia amorosa se aprende algo) y con la que me identifico es que le enseño a "como no quiere que lo quieran" uff jajaj, es buenísima, como la canción en sí...

This song is one of MTZ's biggest hits, it is not his own song from the album, it came out last year surprising everyone with this genre, which in my opinion he is quite good at despite it not being his forte. This song sounded too much and still does, personally I do not listen to it so often, I have bored it a little but it is still a good song to dance and sing along to. It is a song of spite, where Manuel unloads that disappointment that he has been failed, and although he knows that someday he will forget her, it is difficult, especially because I remember moments and songs that he dedicated to her. Wishing that God takes care of both of them and that this girl does not do the same when she falls in love again. And within all this, a phrase that I find incredible, accurate (since from every love experience you learn something) and with which I identify is that he teaches her "how he doesn't want to be loved" uff hahahah, is great, like the song itself ....

Jamaica

Pasamos a una de mis favoritas e inédita del albúm, en esta canción está junto a Beéle, otro cantante colombiano también me encanta. Este tema romántico con un toque caribeño súper pegajoso da unas vibras tropicales que personalmente me gusta, porque además, el ritmo de la canción es tranquilito... se me hace perfecto porque se puede sentir la esencia de ambos cantantes, que juntos crean melodías increíbles. La letra nos habla sobre esa chica y momentos íntimos en Jamaica que no pueden olvidar y quisieran ver de nuevo. Que a pesar de inclinarse mucho la letra a la intimidad, no se siente tan obcena a comparación de otras. De forma resumida, se me hace un muy buen tema musical para relajarse y pasarla bien escuchándola

The lyrics tell us about that girl and intimate moments in Jamaica that they can't forget and would like to see again. Despite the lyrics leaning a lot towards intimacy, it doesn't feel so obtuse compared to others. In short, I think it is a very good song to relax and have a good time listening to it.

Triste

Esta particularmente no es una canción que escuche con frecuencia, no es de mis favoritas, sobretodo por ser una canción más para dedicar o escucharla a motivo de desahogo porque su letra es de desamor (que gracias al cielo no estoy pasando por un momento así😆). Habla de que es mejor que cada uno esté por su lado, ya que había mucha tristeza siempre en medio, no se cumplían promesas y demás. Pero algo atractivo que tiene esta canción que me animó a incluirla y la hace un tanto disfrutable a pesar de la letra es su ritmo, es una propuesta diferente que combina el Pop Latino con un toque de R&B, según leí por allí, el cual me parece muy interesante y original.

This is not a song that I listen to very often, it is not one of my favorites, mainly because it is a song to dedicate or listen to it as a way of venting because its lyrics are about heartbreak (which thank heaven I am not going through such a moment😆). It talks about how it's better for everyone to be on their own, since there was always a lot of sadness in between, promises were not kept and so on. But something attractive about this song that encouraged me to include it and makes it somewhat enjoyable despite the lyrics is its rhythm, it is a different proposal that combines Latin Pop with a touch of R&B, according to what I read there, which I find very interesting and original.

Éxtasis

Seguimos con otra canción que fue integrada al álbum, salió hace 5 meses y de todas es la que me gusta más, por lo romántica que es y por su increíble ritmo urbano. En esta canción Manuel Turizo está acompañado de La Nena de Argentina, María Becerra. Estas dos voces juntas son una belleza, ella lo complementa perfectamente para el significado de esta canción, mejor no pudo ser de verdad!... De hecho, sería muy capaz de dedicar esta canción alguna vez cuando tenga una relación amorosa, la letra es muy bonita, se dicen que quieren ser esa canción que mas le gusta para siempre bailarse y expresan ese amor y deseo de querer estar el uno para el otro. Me parece un éxito total en todo sentido, de mis favoritas de todo el álbum, sin duda...

We continue with another song that was integrated to the album, it came out 5 months ago and of all of them is the one I like the most, because of how romantic it is and for its incredible urban rhythm. In this song Manuel Turizo is accompanied by the Nena from Argentina, Maria Becerra. These two voices together are a beauty, she complements him perfectly for the meaning of this song, it couldn't be better really!.... In fact, I would be very capable of dedicating this song sometime when I have a love relationship, the lyrics are very nice, they say they want to be that song that they like the most to dance forever and express that love and desire to want to be for each other. I think it's a total success in every way, one of my favorites of the whole album, no doubt....

Guayabo

En primer lugar, por algún motivo el título de esta canción me gusta😅. Me parece súper original y atractivo que se utilice una palabra muy de lenguaje coloquial, en este caso colombiano, para desarrollar una canción. Esta palabra (en sentido colombiano) hace referencia al malestar que deja consumir mucho alcohol, y a partir de esto, Turizo desahoga que estando en ese estado recuerda mucho a una chica no correpondida, dice que entre copas se atreve a decirle la verdad y piensa en llamarla o buscarla para tenerla de nuevo. Es interesante la letra, es algo que si puede ocurrir, y me gusta mucho la forma en la que Manuel la interpreta, tranquilo, con su tono de voz tan particular y atractivo, que hace que la canción se disfrute cantando relajadito y dejándose llevar por su ritmo mediante movimientos suaves (o al menos así lo siento yo, jajaj).

This word (in the Colombian sense) refers to the discomfort that comes from consuming too much alcohol, and from this, Turizo vents that being in that state he remembers a lot about a girl he did not correspond to, he says that between drinks he dares to tell her the truth and thinks about calling her or looking for her to have her again. The lyrics are interesting, it is something that can happen, and I really like the way Manuel interprets it, calm, with his particular and attractive tone of voice, which makes the song enjoyable singing relaxed and letting himself be carried away by its rhythm through smooth movements (or at least that's how I feel, hahahah).

El Merengue

Esta fue otra de las canciones INCREÍBLES que agregada al álbum. Acá nuevamente MTZ nos sorprende interpretando un género diferente al acostumbrado, ¡Merengue! Dioos, esta canción es divina, el ritmo es perfecto para bailar y disfrutar cantándola, aunque solo exprese arrepentimiento por decir cosas que no eran verdad por estar pasado de alcohol. En conjunto con Marshmello, hicieron un TEMAZO, con su toque urbano característico que hace súper orignal esta canción, que por supuesto está dentro de mis favoritas, me pongo de buen humor cada que la escucho por la energía que transmite.

This was another AMAZING song added to the album. Here again MTZ surprises us with a different genre, Merengue! Dioos, this song is divine, the rhythm is perfect to dance and enjoy singing it, even though he only expresses regret for saying things that were not true because he was too drunk. Together with Marshmello, they made a GREAT TEMAZO, with their characteristic urban touch that makes this song super original, which of course is among my favorites, I get in a good mood every time I listen to it because of the energy it transmits.

Uh La La

Y para finalizar, esta canción con una energía bastante chévere que siento relaja mucho al escucharla. No me encanta pero si puedo disfrutar de ella ocasionalmente para subir ánimos moviéndome a su ritmo. Es romántica con su toque urbano, que predomina más que en las anteriores. Su vibra es diferente, en si lo que transmite MTZ es único y me encanta. La letra habla de que le gusta y siente que "el tiempo se detiene" cuando está con esa chica así no sea oficial, que mantiene las ganas y pues que desearía volver a estar con ella. Al igual que Jamaica, se inclina mucho a la intimidad, pero no llega a ser tan vulgar la letra, es aceptable y en particular me gusta mucho su forma de referirse a estos temas, sin duda lo hace mejor que muchos otros cantantes del genéro urbano...

And finally, this song with a pretty cool energy that I feel relaxes me a lot when I listen to it. I don't love it but I can enjoy it occasionally to lift my spirits by moving to its rhythm. It is romantic with an urban touch, which is more predominant than the previous ones. Its vibe is different, what MTZ transmits is unique and I love it. The lyrics talk about how he likes and feels that "time stands still" when he's with that girl, even if it's not official, that he still wants to be with her and wishes he could be with her again. Like Jamaica, he leans a lot towards intimacy, but the lyrics are not so vulgar, they are acceptable and I particularly like his way of referring to these topics, without a doubt he does it better than many other singers of the urban genre...

Hasta aquí mi Review de este increíble álbum gente bonita, cuéntenme que tal les pareció en los comentarios y cuales fueron sus canciones favoritas para interactuar un poquito. El álbum contiene en sí 15 temas, pero yo solo quise incluir mis favoritas y las que más llamaron mi atención. Que ojo, todas realmente son muy buenas, solo que algunas son canciones de simple desahogo más que para bailar y animarse, y por ello no las quise agregar porque no me identifico del todo, y este post hubiese sido muchísimo más largo jajaj, que de hecho, si llegaste hasta este punto te lo agradezco un montón...

Disfruté mucho haciendo esta reseña para ustedes, el álbum me da energía, me encanta en todo sentido, hasta las animaciones del video jaja. Manuel Turizo me parece un excelente artista y compositor, merece todo el reconocimiento que tiene de verdad. The album itself contains 15 songs, but I only wanted to include my favorites and the ones that caught my attention the most. Aunque no soy muy Fan de MTZ si me atrapan muchas de sus canciones y tal como lo dices en algunas, tal cual sabrositas para bailar y dejarse llevar jajaja

Sin duda es un cantante qué sabe como darla toda y tiene muy buen equipo, logrando así atrapar a su público variando géneros y dándole su toque personal con esa voz tan sensual🙈💗
