Hello everyone, music lover and listener of @Hiveopenmic. My name is ashiru. Welcome to @hiveopenmic week 202. I'm so excited to be here again this week.

The theme for this week is Contando una Historia which means telling a story. In regards of this week's theme, I will be doing a cover song title Pray for me by Darey.

Thanks to @Henzeru, who is the spotlight artist for this week and thanks to every member of @hiveopenmic for creating this beautiful platform.

This song talks about a story of a young man, who decides to leave his village for the city in search of greener pastures. His father tried to stop him and warned him of how hard life was in the city. Despite knowing that his father wasn't happy with him on this new journey and also knowing the risk, he still decided to embark on this new journey of life.

After his 4year and 11 months in the city, he became clear to him that life in the city was as difficult as his father has described to him but he still believe that his going to fulfilled his purpose in the city. So he decided to keep on asking his father for forgiveness and prayer so that life could be better for him in the city.

Pray for me, is a beautiful song which I personally love a lot because the song talks about important of the support, prayer, love and forgiveness we received from our parents and love one's can helps us in achieving a lot in life. It's also a story of victory at all costs.
