WEVIBES šµ EK 32- āļø WRITERS This week, """Donāt Let the Dreams Fade"""
Hello Hive friends!
Iām really excited to share another new entry for Vibes Week 31, inspired by the contestās invitation to express creativity and connect with emotions. My submission is an original song I wrote, titled ""Donāt Let the Dreams Fade""
This song begins in sorrow but moves gently toward healing. Itās a blend of heartbreak and quiet hope, reflecting how even shattered dreams can lead to new light. Through these lyrics, I wanted to show that loveāno matter how painfulācan still be the spark that helps us find strength within. The music carries that shift, flowing from sadness into calm, from memories into peace. Itās a reminder that while we may lose people, we donāt have to lose ourselves.
"Donāt Let the Dreams Fade" (Original Lyrics)
Verse
In the stormy night, I walk alone,
Broken dreams, my heartās own stone.
Memories echo through my soul,
No more smiles, just pain that takes its toll.
Without you, the road feels bare,
This silent life, too much to bear.
Still, somewhere, hope survives,
That little light still keeps me alive.
Yes, Iāve cried through countless nights,
Yet my heart still longs for gentle lights.
Even in this broken beat,
Old love songs still sound so sweet.
When morning comes, sunlight stays,
My heart wakes up to brighter days.
Even with all the stories of loss,
Love remains, no matter the cost.
You were there, and so was I,
Time has changed, but I still try.
Being okay doesnāt mean I forget,
It just means I carry less regret.
Tears no longer flood my mind,
To be okay is what we all must find.
Even if love is lost someday,
Donāt let your dreams just drift awayā¦
Dedicated
Todayās lyrics are dedicated to all the helpless souls in this world who are burdened with sorrow and struggle. Through this song, I wanted to express that even if life begins with pain, it doesnāt stop there. Life is a journey of both laughter and tearsāand we all deserve a beautiful life filled with dignity and hope.
We are here in this world only for a short time, and to truly live, we must carry our pain with us and continue moving forward. I always try to reflect real social issues through my songs, and through that, I search for a better path toward healing and freedom.
Iām truly grateful to the Vibes music competition, because even without singing, Iāve been able to share the feelings of my heart through writing. Iām not a singer who can perform this song aloudābut if there were an artist who could give voice to my words, it would mean the world to me.
Thank you to everyone who reads and supports this journey. Music has the power to connect, heal, and inspireāand Iām so grateful to share this piece with all of you.
Stay strong, stay inspired. š
With love,
Sabrina
