Saludos queridísimos amigos de #hive, le damos la bienvenida al cuarto capítulo de SESIONES, como siempre agradeciendo todo el apoyo recibido y a pesar de la ausencia por la falta de internet a causa de los apagones producidos por las lluvias, continuamos haciendo lo posible por armar estos capítulos que poco a poco se han convertido en un compendio de producciones hechas en nuestro estudio. La producción que compartiremos en este capítulo se trata de un trabajo superfresco y con una energía de amor y rock´n roll: "ELLA (Mil Formas De Volar)"
Primer sencillo del talentoso Jesús "Witin" Pérez guitarrista de la legendaria banda Renacimiento y voz principal de los Diluidos.

Greetings dearest friends of #hive, we welcome you to the fourth chapter of SESSIONS, as always thanking all the support received and despite the absence due to the lack of internet due to the blackouts caused by the rains, we continue doing everything possible to put together these chapters that little by little have become a compendium of productions made in our studio. The production that we will share in this chapter is about a super fresh work and with an energy of love and rock'n roll: "ELLA (Mil Formas De Volar)"
First single by the talented Jesús "Witin" Pérez guitarist of the legendary band Renacimiento and lead singer of the Diluidos.

🔸EL ARTISTA / THE ARTIST🔸
🎤 Jesús Pérez conocido artísticamente como Witin, es un destacado guitarrista y cantante de la región oriental venezolana, con una larga trayectoria musical, como músico y colaborador, formando parte de bandas de rock de relevancia en la escena musical venezolana como "Los Billy Boys" y "Renacimiento", pasando por diferentes proyectos como la "Sui Quacka" y "Diluidos".
🎤 Jesús Pérez artistically known as Witin, is an outstanding guitarist and singer from the eastern region of Venezuela, with a long musical career, as a musician and collaborator, being part of relevant rock bands on the scene Venezuelan musical such as "Los Billy Boys" and "Renacimiento", passing through different projects such as "Sui Quacka" and "Diluidos".
🎙 Witin presentó su propuesta tocándola en el estudio, pues no poseía una maqueta propiamente dicha, de manera que la practicó un rato y grabó una guía de guitarra y voz con la que pudimos jugar un poco con su estructura, aplicando nuestra técnica de "separación de bloques". Como estaba concebida parecía bien estructurada, pero había una parte entre estrofas que nos dio la idea de usarla como una fuga al final de la canción, dando un cambio inesperado, logrando alcanzar, en ese fragmento, el verdadero clímax.
🎙 Witin presented his proposal by playing it in the studio, since he did not have a proper demo, so he practiced it for a while and recorded a guitar and voice guide with which we could play around with its structure, applying our "block separation" technique. As it was conceived, it seemed well structured, but there was a part between verses that gave us the idea of using it as a fugue at the end of the song, giving an unexpected change, managing to reach, in that fragment, the true climax.
🔸PRODUCCIÓN / PRODUCTION🔸
🎚️ La estética estaba muy clara, ya que Witin tiene un estilo muy marcado como músico y compositor; su influencia abrazada a los Guns N' Roses dieron luces para determinar como sonarían las guitarras y en especial la batería. A pesar de que la canción es una balada rock, la energía que le imprimimos revistió de Power-rock el carácter sonoro y la empujo hacia el rock de los noventa pero con un refresh de actualidad.
🎚️ The aesthetic was very clear, since Witin has a very marked style as a musician and composer; his influence embraced to the Guns N' Roses gave lights to determine how the guitars would sound and especially the drums. Despite the fact that the song is a rock ballad, the energy we imprinted on it gave the sound character Power-rock and pushed it towards the rock of the nineties but with a current refresh.
🎸 Las guitarras fueron grabadas por supuesto por el mismo Witin, usando emulaciones "Marshall" y saliendo por el gabinete Peavey. Se capturó con un micrófono AKG P120 y la guitarra fue la Ibanez GAX30.
La batería la hicimos a partir del baterista virtual de Logic Pro, luego modificamos los golpes en ciertas partes para contextualizar y lo humanizamos con un algoritmo para darle más realismo en la ejecución. El bajo está grabado por nuestro productor Augusto Córdova, quien también hizo los sintetizadores.
🎸 The guitars were of course recorded by Witin himself, using "Marshall" emulations and coming out of the Peavey cabinet. It was captured with an AKG P120 microphone and the guitar was the Ibanez GAX30.
We made the drums from the Logic Pro virtual drummer, then we modified the hits in certain parts to contextualize and humanized it with an algorithm to give it more realism in the execution. The bass is recorded by our producer Augusto Córdova, who also did the synths.
🎤 Finalmente grabamos las voces usando el AKG P120 para la voz principal y el SHURE SM200 para las background. Las voces no se procesaron mucho como se haría en un tema POP, sino que se le dio un aspecto más a concierto; apegados al mensaje de la letra, decidimos ubicar el sonido como si estuviera tocando en un bar. Una serenata rock 😊.
🎤 Finally we recorded the vocals using the AKG P120 for lead vocals and the SHURE SM200 for background vocals. The vocals weren't processed as much as a POP song would be, but more of a concert look; attached to the message of the lyrics, we decided to place the sound as if it were playing in a bar. A rock serenade 😊.
🎛 Mezclamos la canción usando algunos recurso digitales como el EZdrummer para darle realismo a la batería MIDI, el Guitar Rig 5 para la emulación "Marshall" y el Amplitube 4 para el acabado final del bajo. Además de los sintetizadores, se reforzó la atmósfera con elementos percusivos como Shakers y Panderetas.
📀 La canción fue mezclada y masterizada por Augusto Córdova en Artefacto Studio, Cumaná-Venezuela.
🎛 We mixed the song using some digital resources like the EZdrummer to give realism to the MIDI drums, the Guitar Rig 5 for the "Marshall" emulation and the Amplitube 4 for the final finish of the bass. In addition to the synthesizers, the atmosphere was reinforced with percussive elements such as Shakers and Tambourines.
📀 The song was mixed and mastered by Augusto Córdova at Artefacto Studio, Cumaná-Venezuela.

✅ En ese entonces, Artefacto Studio estaba recién mudado a ese local y nuestra área de trabajo era un poco más pequeña, como se puede evidenciar en las imágenes y muy a pesar de ello, estábamos muy activos trabajando en esas producciones.
"ELLA" es una canción muy emotiva, es una carta de amor cargada de mucha sinceridad y esperanza, estos elementos fundamentales nos permitieron llevar la producción hacia la estética y sonoridad acorde con el mensaje implícito en su letra.
✅ At that time, Artefacto Studio had just moved to that location and our work area was a little smaller, as can be seen in the images, and despite this, we were very active working on those productions.
"ELLA" is a very emotional song, it is a love letter loaded with a lot of sincerity and hope, these fundamental elements allowed us to take the production towards aesthetics and sonority in accordance with the message implicit in its lyrics.
