Hive music Festival week 149, round 2// I surrender by Hillsong (cover by AO WILSON)

Hello great hivians in the house. My name is @aowilson and this is my entry for Hive music Festival week 149 Round 2. So guys. I will be sharing a song cover of Surrender by Hillsong. I hope that this cover blesses you real good, and gives you peace that you deserve.

This is my humble submission for this song. The song is soothing, the song is beautiful and I love the rendition that Hillsong gave to it with the acoustic and all. Personally I love acoustics, I love the sound that comes from acoustic guitars and that was one drive I had to even begin learning the guitar.

" I surrender" is a song that is an outcry to the Lord, it reveals brokenness of heart and contritely shows how a God really wants us to be to him. You know, God opposes the proud and elevates the humble, he hates it when people feel like "we can do it on our own".

Surrender as an action, though most times happens when one has come to the end of theirselves and they see that they cannot carry on again. Surrender comes when a higher power has subdued you.

If you surrender to God, it means you recognize his lordship and you bow to it. It means that you have seen his glory and you bow to it. But more than that, it must come with submission and love for him. It must also be with loyalty and giving of all to him, he owns all that we have and so we must surrender it to his use.

I choose to surrender, I choose to bow to God, I choose to give him my life, I choose to make him my Lord. Yeaa... I surrender!!!!
