Hive Music Festival week 193 round 1// we honor you Lord (Cover by AO WILSON)

Hello great hivians in the house. My name is @aowilson and this is my entry for Hive music Festival week 193 Round 1. I will be sharing a cover of a song titled We Honour You by Nathaniel Bassey. I hope that you will not just enjoy the song but that you will be really blessed by it and enjoy every bit of the song!!! I first heard this song from a senior friend back in 2025 at NCCF Adamawa State, during a state conference at the state House...when he raised the song, I even thought that he was the one that composed the song but when I asked him to send me the song, he now tell me that the song was written by Nathaniel Bassey...and the shocking thing again is that it's his wife that actually received the song , I knew this from the testimony he gave in the song recording.

I so much love this song, I love the simplicity, the arrangement and how the progressive nature of the symphony goes...
We honor you Lord, we honor you Lord...very simple lyrics, very straightforward...and if you know me, you would have known that I actually love simple songs...very simple songsand very straightforward songs. I don't really enjoy complicated songs, even though that doesn't mean that I don't listen to complicated songs, I do, but I actually prefer the simpler ones.
We ought to give honor to God. Some one once said, give honour to whom honour is due. The Bible says "Thou art worthy to receive glory and "honor"..." Speaking about God now...so God is worthy of our honor. As you listen l, don't just listen but, sing along, and let it take you to the place where we will all put our hearts together in honor to God.
