Hi beautiful people of Afritunes community. How do you do and happy new week to you. I remain your favorite guitarist, @aowilson and this is my entry for Afritunes week 168. So, this week I will be sharing a song cover for I'm yours by Kaestrings and David Dam.
It is a song of total surrender to God's will and purpose. It deicits a heart of openness and brokenness for the leadings of God. God is looking for vessels to use, looking for bodies to overwhelmed and use for his glorious purposes. This is an eternal search right from the womb of time where God search for someone to use for his please.
This song is a cry to God not to pass us by but to choose us to use for his Divine assignment. It resonance brings hope of doing what God has made us to be, his utmost pleasure and praise of his Glory. It helps us keep in check to his plans and purpose. Not wanting to do our will.
The pre chorus says I'm yours forever More. When you belong to someone, you are determined to do as he pleases because they own you and they determine what you do.
I will implore you to join me to sing the song as we cry to God for Mercy, not to pass us by but choose us to do what he wills.
