The first DEMO of my band Frecuencia Sublime on HIVE (ENG/ESP)

Last January 30th (2023) the first DEMO of my band Frecuencia Sublime was released. This first release is a hybrid collection that compiles 7 songs that make reference to what we have been building since 2020 until today.

Songs that grouped together:

Basically, we are showing what it was, the initial phase of the band. For us it represents a musical sketch and/or the foundations for the creation of what is, our current reality.

During this time of construction, assembly and integration in this project, we have had the support of excellent musicians from the city of Caracas.

Jonathan Varela (Drummer)

Jonathan, is the drummer and composer in YANTRA He accompanied us and supported us as drummer in the first rehearsal.

Alison Varela (Guitar Player)

Guitarist and Vocalist of the band YANTRA He supported us in that first rehearsal with his guitar. But he could not commit to the project because he already leads Yantra.

José Sammy (Guitar Player)

Sammy joined the band around September 2020. He began to participate as a guitarist and later we undertook the process of recording the musical part of the demos in his home studio. At that time we achieved 4 (Fever, Cerveza, La inocencia and android) songs which are present in this first release.

The voices were recorded in the studio AUDIO CARACAS with the friend José Gregorio Fernandez
who is the director of this studio.

Sam lasted a short period due to time complications, since he was studying and also working on other personal musical projects and decided to leave the band in early 2021. Then later, in mid 2022, despite having his solo project and participating as a music producer of some rappers, he decided to return to collaborate in the band as a guest guitarist.

José Quevedo (Guitar Player) He accompanied the band during the recording process of the song "ASTRONAUTA".
He participated as guitarist and backing vocalist, achieving an excellent job. The final version has not yet been released.

Ronny Carrillo (Guitar Player)

Ron was part of the project from the beginning as guitarist and composer of two songs in the band. One instrumental, which was our first publication on instagram which we never named and "FRACTURE" which is one of my favorites and is not included in our first release.

"Ronny had an episode in which he lost consciousness last March 20, 2022, generating symptoms that led to the realization of an MRI that gave the following diagnosis:

1. Fisher I Hunt Hess II S/A Subarachnoid Hemorrhage.
   Rupture of bilobed saccular aneurysm in M1 segment of the MCA.

Not having medical insurance, Ronny and his family went to the Hospital Clínico Universitario in Caracas to obtain medical attention and opt for the immediate surgery he required".

I feel that these were the darkest days of the band.
José Quevedo, Rafael Montilla and myself took turns with Ron's family to support him in this delicate process of observation and post-operative recovery.

Seeing Ron like this, the concern in his family and his relatives affected me a lot, I wanted to help him and I didn't know how. I felt helpless, anxiety was eating me up inside and the only option available was to WAIT. I think he has been one of the companions that has marked me the most in this process of raising the band.

During his absence, I continued recording some things at Sur Records.
Depression, lack of resources and lack of band mates, made me stop the project and dedicate myself to other activities that had nothing to do with music in order to vent my frustration.

I honestly thought many times about abandoning this project; but, another inner voice told me that I had to continue. Halfway through the year, Rafael, Sammy and I discussed the possibility of making one last attempt and creating content that would allow us to show the band, via web 3, participating in the HIVE ecosystem.

This idea was born from the need to play for someone who could appreciate and help us move forward in this process.

The lack of equipment, money, employment and housing were the main obstacles that made me doubt the possibility of keeping the band. However, with 3 or 4 rehearsals we defined a short set of 7 songs, which we presented at the event EL ARTE VUELVE A LA PLAZA with the intention of closing the year.

The moment of reunion

On December 30, 2022, Ronny appeared at the band's performance at the Bellas Artes Museum Plaza and accompanied us throughout the event.

Rafael Montilla (Bass player)

Rafa is one of the best known colleagues in the caraqueño guild. He currently works at the Teresa Carreño Theater as a sound technician. He plays guitar in the band MAKONDO 2.0 and he is also the bass player of the band FRECUENCIA SUBLIME
since rehearsal number one (1), in early 2020. Together, we have recorded the demo published in SPOTIFY The songs "Astronauta" and "El templo de los sueños" have been released professionally on Sur Records, these songs have not yet been published.
Rafa is still active and is one of the most committed members of the band.

Antony Jiménez (Drummer/Vocal/Composer)
This is ME. On my HIVE INTRO (introduction) here you can learn more about me.

I have the vision and the purpose of creating a band that is unique, where the essence of everyone in it can be felt. At least, that is my dream.

That allows us to speak to people, to motivate them, to provide music that changes the way they think or gives them a different perspective when facing situations.

When I started this project. I did it because I had the need to let off steam as an artist. I was dealing with many frustrations: Family, social, economic and even sentimental problems. The mission was to unload everything and develop a musical concept.

I have decided to make this launch through PUKUMUNDO because, par excellence, it is the Rock community and it is also a showcase of talent that promotes and helps emerging talent.

Grateful to @orimusic and @nahupuku for the support and for the space.

Currently, the band has new members. But that story will be told in the next post.

El pasado 30 de Enero (2023) se publicó el primer DEMO de mi banda Frecuencia Sublime. Esta primera entrega, es una colección hibrida que compila de 7 canciones que, hacen referencia a lo que hemos venido construyendo, desde el año 2020 hasta la actualidad.

Canciones que agrupadas:

Durante este tiempo de construcción, ensamblaje e integración en este proyecto, hemos tenido el apoyo de excelentes músicos de la ciudad de Caracas.

Jonathan Varela (Baterista)

Jonathan, es el baterista y compositor en YANTRA
El nos acompañó y apoyó como baterista en el primer ensayo.

Guitarrista y Vocalista de la banda YANTRA
Nos apoyó en ese primer ensayo con su guitarra. Pero no podía comprometerse con el proyecto porque ya lidera Yantra.

José Sammy (Guitarrista)

Sammy ingresó en la banda aproximadamente en Septiembre del 2020. Comenzó a participar como guitarrista y mas adelante emprendimos el proceso de grabar la parte musical del demos en su home Studio. En ese momento logramos 4 (Fever, Cerveza, La inocencia y androide) canciones las cuales están presentes en esta primera entrega. Las voces las grabamos en el estudio AUDIO CARACAS con el amigo José Gregorio Fernandez
el cual es el director de este Estudio.

Sam duró un periodo corto debido a complicaciones de tiempo, ya que él, se encontraba estudiando y además trabajando en otros proyectos musicales personales y decidió dejar la agrupación a principios del 2021. Luego mas adelante, a mediados del 2022, a pesar de tener su proyecto solista y de participar como productor musical de algunos Raperos, decidió volver a colaborar en la banda como guitarrista invitado.

El acompañó a la banda, durante el proceso de grabación de la canción "ASTRONAUTA".
Participó guitarrista y corista, logrando un excelente trabajo. La versión final aun no ha sido publicada.

Ronny Carrillo (Guitarrista)

Ron, Formó parte del proyecto desde el inicio como guitarrista y compositor de dos canciones de la banda. Una instrumental que, fué nuestra primera publicación en instagram que nunca le dimos nombre y "FRACTURA" la cual es una de mis favoritas y no está incluida en nuestra primera entrega.

"Ronny tuvo un episodio en el cual perdió el conocimiento el pasado 20 de marzo del 2022, generando síntomas que conllevaron a la realización de una resonancia que dio como diagnóstico lo siguiente:

1. Hemorragia Subaracnoidea Fisher I Hunt Hess II S/A
2. Ruptura de Aneurisma sacular bilobulado en segmento M1 de ACM

Al no contar con un seguro médico, Ronny y su familia acudieron al Hospital Clínico Universitario en Caracas, para obtener atención la médica y optar por la cirugía inmediata que requería"

Yo siento que fueron los días mas oscuros de la banda.
José Quevedo, Rafael Montilla y mi persona nos turnamos junto a los familiares de Ron para; apoyarlo en este proceso delicado de observación y recuperación post operación.

Ver a ron así, la preocupación en sus familiares y me afectó bastante, quería ayudarlo y no sabía como. Me sentía impotente, me comía la ansiedad por dentro y la única opción disponible era ESPERAR. Creo que él, ha sido uno de los compañeros que mas me ha marcado en este proceso de levantar a la banda.

Durante su ausencia, yo continué grabando algunas cosas en Sur Records.
La depresión, la falta de recursos y de compañeros de banda, me hizo frenar el proyecto y dedicarme a otras actividades que no tuvieran que ver con la música para desahogar la frustración.

Honestamente pensé muchas veces en abandonar este proyecto; pero, otra voz interna me decía que debía seguir. A mitad de año, Rafael, Sammy y yo conversamos la posibilidad de hacer un ultimo intento y crear contenido que nos permitiera mostrar a la banda, vía web 3, participando dentro del ecosistema de HIVE.

Esta idea nació de la necesidad de tocar para alguien que pudiera apreciar y ayudarnos a avanzar en este proceso.

La falta de equipos, de dinero, de empleo y de vivienda, eran los principales obstáculos que me hicieron dudar de la posibilidad de mantener la formación. Mas sin embargo, con 3 o 4 ensayos definimos un set corto de 7 canciones, el cual presentamos en el evento EL ARTE VUELVE A LA PLAZA con la intención de cerrar el año.

El momento del reencuentro

Ese 30 de Diciembre del 2022, Ronny apareció en ese toque que, realizó la banda en la plaza de los museos de Bellas Artes y nos acompañó durante todo el evento.

Rafael Montilla (Bajo)

Rafa es uno de los compañeros mas conocidos en el gremio caraqueño. Actualmente, labora en el teatro Teresa Carreño como técnico de sonido. Toca la guitarra en la banda MAKONDO 2.0 y además, se desempeña como bajista de la banda FRECUENCIA SUBLIME desde el ensayo numero Uno (1), a principios del año 2020. Juntos, hemos grabado El demo publicado en SPOTIFY, los temas "Astronauta" y "El templo de los sueños" de manera profesional en Sur Records, dichos temas aun no se han publicado.
Rafa aun se encuentra activo y es uno de los integrantes que mas compromiso a demostrado.

Antony Jiménez (Batería/Voz/Compositor)

Este soy YO. En mi HIVE INTRO (introducción) aquí pueden conocer mas de mi.

Tengo la visión y el propósito de crear una banda que, sea única, donde se sienta la esencia de todos los que la integran. Al menos, ese es mi sueño.

Que nos permita hablarle a las personas, motivarlas, brindar una música que cambie la forma de pensar o les brinde una óptica distinta al enfrentar situaciones.

Cuando inicié este proyecto. Lo hice por tener la necesidad de desahogarme como artista. Manejaba muchas frustraciones por: Problemas familiares, Sociales, económicos e incluso sentimentales. La misión era descargar todo para y desarrollar un concepto musical.

He decidido hacer este lanzamiento a través de PUKUMUNDO ya que, por excelencia, es la comunidad del Rock y además es una vitrina de talentos que, impulsa y ayuda al talento emergente.
