Hello everyone! I am Anniebest, and this is Hive Open Mic Week 276. For this week’s rendition, I’ll be doing a cover of the song titled “What a Beautiful Name” by Hillsong Worship.

There has never been a time I’ve sung this song and not been deeply blessed. I remember back in college during a choir conference organized by my church. My choir, Glory Life Choir was among the few selected to minister at the event. And guess what? We chose “What a Beautiful Name” for our ministration, and I was selected as the lead vocalist.

I still recall how God moved mightily during the performance. The congregation couldn’t help but join in worship. After the ministration, one of the pastor’s wives came up to me and said, “You sang beautifully.” But I knew right then that it wasn’t me, it was God moving through the praise of His holy name.

Every word in this song resonates deeply with me. It reminds me of the beauty of his name, how powerful he is, how undefeatable He is. His name is above every other name! To him be all power, glory, dominion, praise, and worship forever. Amen.
